After being sent this today, it seemed fitting to use it to actually introduce myself and put a face to the brand, as I donā€™t like being in front of a camera. I much prefer being the creative one behind the scenes. Welcome to Sink Or Swim. A brand name I had written down and doodled just after lockdown. My life had taken a bit of a turn with health, and I was unable to work for a number of years. Thatā€™s when the name Sink Or Swim had come to mind, with the decisions of giving in or adapting and pushing through. I chose the latter. The last year has been crazy. Iā€™ve moved to Swansea, began Barbering again, and started designing merch for the barbershop. This then turned into starting my own brand with quality over quantity in mind. I draw each design myself, and spent months going back and forth choosing the right fabrics etc I just wanted to create designs I could never find for myself and have quality that would last. The feedback and the support has been crazy and I thank each and every one of you whoā€™s grabbed a tee, and even grabbed more. The designs from the launch season have completely sold out, and I couldnā€™t have done that without you all. Each design will be available for different seasons and be a limited time for each. I wanted to keep pushing my own creativity and work with other artists, creatives and people from different cultures and lifestyles that influence what I do. I thank you all for loving what Iā€™ve put a lot of time, thought and passion into. @hardknock_barbers have given me the opportunity to showcase the products within the shop, so come down and check them out on your next haircut. Season 2 will be ready soon Dave by @david_sostradingco

These are the bits I was hoping someone would capture šŸ«¶šŸ¼ The laughs, the conversations and people getting to know someone they might never have crossed paths with otherwise. Bringing business owners and creatives together here in Swansea is such a lovely part of building MPM, and seeing you all getting involved means a lot. IN THE ROOM is one way those introductions happen. Through the MPM Creative Network, I also bring people and their skills together for brand shoots, campaigns and creative projects across South Wales. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the evening what it was. And to @cieranlockley.photography for capturing these moments šŸ¤ Who did you get chatting to that youā€™re glad you met? #MissingPieceMedia #InTheRoom #SwanseaNetworking #SouthWalesBusiness #CreativeNetwork by @david_sostradingco
