Here in the wild of #dallas, you'll spot @davidloi.studios catching a flock of #beechcraft #starships grazing lazily on the tarmac on the hunt for some aviation gas. Be gentle as you photograph them so as not to disturb them or they'll start their turboprops and fly away!

Also, try to avoid being on a man-lift 5-stories up on a windy day! That's kinda scary😂

Fortunate to get to photograph the only remaining airworthy #beechcraftstarship in the world with #AQRD.

F1 Race Day in Monza!

It's especially special because as a life-long follower of F1 (since 2003 to be exact!) this weekend is extra special because if you've been following Lewis Hamilton on social media, you'll know he has recently acquired a #Ferrari F40 as well...what a lucky guy ;)

I've photographed 3 of them now in my life time and I have to say, I've always walked away hoping to catch a glimpse one more time...it's always sad to walk away, not knowing when the next time, if ever I'll get to photograph one again. Thank you to @ferrariofdallas for letting me photograph this gorgeous example.

What a special car. Enzo, you legend.

Swipe right to see the car before composite!

Happy Friday! Ready to hit the town when you get off work? I think we got the ride for ya ;)

@maseratiofplano asked for a photoshoot that would make this gorgeous #Maserati Grecale Modena stand out.

Not that hard with a car this beautiful! It stands out on its own quite well...but I thought "what if we shot in the dark" and give it some mood?

I think we nailed it ;)

Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion does something to you that's hard to explain until you're standing trackside and a Group C cars roar by in a symphony of anger and fury. The Mazda 787B, the first Japanese winner of the 24-Hour Of LeMans flashes by along side a Williams FW11 Honda Turbo goes by as they roll in formation. Or watching the small but mighting '62 Lotus 22 screaming down to the Corkscrew at Laguna Seca... This is something special, something else.

All of this is here to remind us that we're alive to feel. We're here to be moved. We're here because watching these racing cars blast by at the limit of grip...its one of the few things left on this planet that yanks you completely into the present moment and reminds you to put the phone down and go enjoy the damn ride.

I think that's why you'll find @thatdanielwu driving his Datsun 510 or @zbrownceo driving his Jaguar XJR-9. That's the obsession of of feeling alive. And no matter who we are, we want to be alive. These amazing #vintageracecars help reminds us.

Here in the wild of @txmotorspeedway you may have seen this absolute unit of a #GMC #HummerEV Carbon that just schooled some very expensive European feelings on wheels and here's the thing nobody saw coming: we were using this 9,000 pound electric beast as our camera truck. The real surprise wasn't just that it could keep up with Ferraris and Lambos, it was watching this giant on steroids casually pulled ahead while our camera crew casually filmed the exotics behind it in the cabin! Nothing says "plot twist" quite like a truck that looks like it ate a Transformer for breakfast becoming the hero of a high end automotive production.

Being part of this massive shoot was incredible and watching our camera truck make these weekend track toys look pedestrian never got old. Afterwards we got a ride in it where the crew put the truck into "FREEDOM" Mode. That felt like hitting lightspeed in the Millennium Falcon, lol.

Sometimes you get to photograph something that stays with you long after you pack up your gear. This Breaking Down Barriers shoot was one of those projects where I'm capturing people building pathways that didn't exist when I was dreaming about being in that cockpit as a kid. These images represents everything about why this work matters, real people, real training, real careers in aviation for communities that have been underrepresented in the industry.

When organizations are doing work that actually changes things, being the one holding the camera feels like exactly where I'm supposed to be.

#BTS RAW audio and video. Yeah, I'm not gonna lie...I was scared shirtless, lol. Ignore my cussing 😂

Things I thought about while being 4 floors up in the air as the wind is blowing me around...

1. Holy Moly, that's the last 4 flying #beechcraft #starships in the world!
2. It's really f*cking windy up here!!
3. I should have charged more!!!
4. Man it would really suck if I dropped my camera.
5. Man it would really suck if I fell over.
6. Don't look down, don't look down.
7. Worth it!

Got to shoot this Beck 550 Spyder replica – a tribute to the Porsche 550 Spyder legendary racing machine (made famous by James Dean) and honestly couldn't believe this beauty was sitting in front of my camera.

There's something about cars built with soul that just photograph differently. Some cars, they take awhile to find their best angles...these, well they never even try. Effortlessly cool. They tell stories because someone actually cared enough to get their hands dirty building them.

I didn't even have to spend a lot of time because they're just so damn photogenic. Hell, they could probably take better selfies than I do! Plus, they make me look way cooler than I actually am. 📸

There's a reason #Artemis captured our imagination.

Think about how much AI-generated space art exists. The moon. The launches. The suits. All of it — endless, flawless, instantly forgettable.

So what actually made the world stop and cheer for those four astronauts?
You can feel it when you see the real images. The culmination of years of hard work, failures, breakthroughs — that quiet certainty that what you're looking at actually happened. That someone was there. That the moment was real.

AI can't manufacture that feeling. It can only imitate the surface of it. As we hand more of our visual world over to algorithms, we risk losing something we might not notice until it's gone — the sense that what we're seeing actually happened. That it mattered enough for someone to show up and witness it.

I leave you with this thought for your own brands...Photography witnesses. AI generates. There's a difference. And we can all still feel it.

Sometimes the best work happens when the world's still quiet. Early morning shoot at Dallas Executive Airport for their rebrand — capturing their MRO operations and #Cessna #Citation #Gulfstream fleet in that perfect golden light.

There's something honest about photographing aircraft. They don't lie. They're either maintained to perfection or they're not flying. These guys? Perfection.

Link in bio when you're ready to make your work look as good as it actually is.
