Last night was a blast. It’s still weird that a few years ago I wasn’t sure I’d ever heal my voice and this month I did another musical show and a Halloween improv show! Feel very grateful to have met such great people and get to do this kind of thing 🤩 by @daviemoo

Friday night’s Improvised Musical Galactic Deathmatch was, as always, brilliant. @rollwithitimprov led by the excellent Neil & Jonathan (The Emperor & The Herald) organised another fantastic show at @sevenartsleeds - two teams sing to impress the galactic emperor! The show raised over 350 pounds for @chooselove which is an awesome charity. Thanks to everyone who came along ❤️ we’ve done Edinburgh and Leeds, the others have done Manchester… keep your eyes peeled, maybe the Deathmatch will be local to you some time…🤩 by @daviemoo

Look! Sometimes I post about me instead of horrors beyond our comprehension!

Last night @rollwithitimprov along with folk from @aireheadsimprov and @murderinccomedy had another fantastic IMPROVISED MUSICAL GALACTIC DEATHMATCH at the brilliant @sevenartsleeds - count still coming in but it seems we raised at least £350 for @chooselove - twas another magical evening of musical mastery, hilarious hosting and sensual singing (though filthier than usual… I blame the crowd… 👀).

Hope everyone who made it had a great time! 🤩 by @daviemoo

New blog post at politically enraged. I’m sure Labour has made your life easier with its new, happy chappy leader but that ignores the anti trans rot and the sort of sycophants it’s brought into the midst of the party. Attacking trans rights isn’t dealing with misogyny and women’s issues- if anything it’s contributing to why they continue to go on unaddressed. It’s far beyond time people acknowledge that. by @daviemoo

I do not have the time or energy to litigate this with people. Yes, reform are an extremist party. If you disagree it’s not because you’re correct, it’s because you either wilfully misunderstand what is and isn’t racist, misogynistic, hateful… or you know full well you’re lying because you’re not capable of having an honest conversation about these issues. If you’re going to vote for them it would be refreshing to at least say, I have no issues with these things because that’s how I honestly feel. Your inclination to lie about it or inability to understand factual definitions is not my responsibility to help you grasp that. by @daviemoo

I’ve had enough. We’ve created a society where all too many men are raised to believe women are objects to be won or taken, those men don’t value women as people, they turn to other men who they’ve been raised to seek the approval of and then they wonder why they’re miserable, women are miserable and the whole time we’re dancing around the central issue: the way we’re raising boys and men is not conducive to healthy relationships and social dynamics. And blaming women every time something bad happens whilst insisting men aren’t harmful is 1 psychopathy and 2 not addressing the central issue.
I don’t know how we go about fixing this, socialising men to not take in these stupid ideas about women, consent, even sexuality and gender roles- but I know we’re failing to address it now.
Men who rape are evil. Stop defending them. The reason our world is being run by idiots is that we stopped punishing people for committing these fucking crimes. by @daviemoo

I get 1.50 for every time a faceless account tells me “not far right, just right” or “you woke people call everything fascist” ❤️ #britainisnotok #politicallyenraged by @daviemoo

How much things change and yet stay the same… by @daviemoo

Audre Lorde wrote this in 1974, in reference to- obviously- the Viet Nam war, and police violence against black people in America.

Pretty wild how much things change and stay the same.

Interesting too to realise how one story of violence can neatly talk about others. by @daviemoo

The time is far past due now that we stop pretending farage and his cling ons are being honest when they say they’re not corrupt. They are. They know it, you know it, I know it. I’m not wasting time debating reality with people who’ve proven themselves incapable of acknowledging it. by @daviemoo

Fringe day 5 was magical- primarily because all the chairs today were good and didn’t make my back feel like it’s made of hot crab legs… saw some scaries with a one man show about Alan Poe’s work, then met the absolute treasure @sonessstevens who does an awesome voice acting show which you participate in (anyone who knows me knows it’s a dream…)- you should go to that OR her show about recovering from a sumo injury that sounds amazing! did some flyering for our show *which is tomorrow by the way!* @rollwithitimprov goes Improvised Musical Galactic Deathmatch. We played an arcade game in the pitch black- I had my body Hollowed out for another personality (in the game…)
Our lovely friend Rhiannon was replicated in miniature by a magician im not altogether sure isn’t actually magic… then saw a great show by Justina Seselskaite which was super funny and all about immigration. Then saw David Elms describes a room which was so funny I actually had tears running down my face.

Love it here. by @daviemoo

Being with you makes me feel like I’m staring directly into a bright light ❤️ @philipreuben by @daviemoo
