For a split second this morning, I looked over and forgot.

Yesterday we had to say goodbye to our boy.

For just that moment, everything was the way it had always been.

My sidekick. My sous chef in the kitchen. My co-editor waiting patiently beside my desk, taking the occasional break to chase squirrels he’d never catch.

Thick as thieves from the very beginning.

It’s strange how a single second can hold both a lifetime of love and the weight of losing it.

I’ll catch you on the other side. 🤍 by @andrew.batiz

Spent a week with the girls and the gays celebrating two icons. Left with two Scorpio sisters, a whole new crew of friends, and a ton of unforgettable memories. Also I managed to fall in love with my partner all over again.

Happy Birthday @jjimenezcollie & @tracytutor thank you for letting me dance, sing, and heal my soul with you. by @andrew.batiz

Luna Luna. Thirty-six years ago, Luna Luna landed in Hamburg, Germany: the world’s first art amusement park with rides, games, and attractions by visionary artists like Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, and David Hockney.

By a twist of fate, the park’s treasures were sealed in 44 shipping containers and forgotten in Texas—until now.

Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy unravels the tale of the most fantastical fairground the world has ever known, unlocking exclusive viewing access to an astounding collection of rides and relics crafted by the world’s foremost contemporary artists. taken in Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy by @andrew.batiz
