Building trust and stronger communities one game at a time. 🏀

Recently featured on WUSA9’s The Nightcap, the DC Police Athletic League is bringing officers and young people together for its 2nd Annual PAL Summer Basketball Camp, creating positive connections that extend far beyond the court.

We’re proud to see PAL programs receiving recognition for the meaningful work happening in communities every day.

Thank you to @wusa9 for highlighting the impact of DC PAL!

What a day at RFK!

We had a blast joining Fight For Children’s Youth Sports For All Day alongside DC Police Foundation @dcpolicefoundation , 40+ nonprofits and community organizations with giveaways, food, music, and of course, plenty of pickleball. Thank you, FFC @fightforchildren for making this great day possible!

The best part? 30+ kids picked up a pickleball paddle and played for the very first time.

Even Screech got in on the action!

Huge thanks to Angie, Belkie, Erika, and Jean for showing up and helping us out — and to Barksdale for being the cutest. 🐶

We’re always excited to introduce more people to pickleball and build the DC pickleball community, one new player at a time.

DCPL is back at RFK! 🎉

Last October, our community transformed The Fields at RFK into 21 pickleball courts, welcoming 200+ players and demonstrating the incredible demand for pickleball in Washington, DC.

This year, we’re returning with an even bigger vision.

On Sunday, October 4, join us for a great day of competition while helping demonstrate the demand for dedicated public pickleball facilities as part of the future RFK Campus.

The tournament is part of a full day of pickleball featuring YSFA (Youth Sports for All) Day by Go Play, Police Athletic League (PAL) youth clinics, DC Deaf Pickleball clinics, food vendors, community booths, and more. Additional event details will be announced soon.

Introducing the next generation to pickleball! 🎉

We had an incredible time spending the day with kids from the DC Summer Youth Academy @dcdpr and Jelleff Boys & Girls Club (@bgcgw) during a 5-hour pickleball clinic sponsored by @dcpolicefoundation and @dcpolicedept.

A huge thank you to Pat for inviting us to be part of such a meaningful event. It was so much fun sharing the game with so many young people, watching them learn new skills, and seeing their enthusiasm on the court. We had an unforgettable day!
