the only thing I cycle sync is my @oneractive 😉I don’t cycle sync my training because up to this point, there’s no reason to. I take days off when I need them and I push through some discomfort and fatigue when I know I can. I have hit PRs on days I thought would be my worst training days. I’ve failed easy lifts when cycle syncing would tell me I’m “at my strongest”. So before you start taking 2 weeks a month off lifting, my advice is to learn how to auto regulate your training in general as there are other factors that can affect your performance —stress, lack of sleep, getting sick, etc. and you need to know how to navigate that. #cyclesyncing #strengthtraining #gymmotivation

Watching you grow into the young man you are today has been one of the greatest honors of my life. Your heart is so big, so kind, and so full of love. Even though you’re taller than everyone in the family now, you’ll always be my gentle giant.

I love seeing the passion you have for basketball, aviation, and the things that make you uniquely you. But what makes me proudest isn’t what you do, it’s who you are. An incredible son, brother, grandson, cousin, friend, and human being.

As I write this, my eyes are filled with tears because it feels like yesterday I was holding my baby boy, and now I’m looking up at this amazing young man. Time truly flies.

Mommy loves you more than words can ever express, and I can’t wait to celebrate you with the people who love you most.

Lumi the lynx has found her forever home. 🐾

I first met Lumi when she was rescued 12 week old cub who was injured and lost her mom. Seeing her healthy, thriving and settling into her new home at the Assiniboine Park Zoo is heartwarming.

I am lynx clan—bizhiw nindoodem— so you could say I’ve been rooting for my relative.

We’re proud to support our animal friends with a $650k investment in @Wildlifehaven _mb and $5M for a new Animal Health Centre at the @assiniboine_park zoo.
