There is a JoyAnd a sensitivity, In the Son of Man. Jesus. I am truly in awe of His goodness. I am one of those people who have been raised by their mother to believe. & She did a wonderful thing, thank God for my mother. Psalm 116:16 “Truly, I am your servant Lord; I serve you just as my mother did; you have freed me from my chains.” But I don’t think I have appreciated the Gospel as it being enough. This weekend, there was a spiritual understanding that shifted. There is nothing else that could satisfy my life except the Lord. I have searched for healing and love in other ways. Trust when I tell you! But it was never enough. Even in worship and in leadership. Even in the church. His word, alone, is enough. That’s it. It is so simple but our feeble minds fail us. Lord, help me to steward this understanding and please seal what you did for the many hearts this weekend. May I continue to praise you through my voice and life. 5/8/2025I graduated 🙌🏽& I cannot say that I’ve enjoyed my experience more than I’ve struggled the last 3 years. I have crossed the finish line with a sigh of relief. What a tiring but rewarding journey. First-Generation. 3 years. I won’t stop asking “Why me?” as I chisel through this path. I break down, I get up, I break down, I get up. I get up. I get up. But God!“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties.
