Last weekend, my film “Stage Fright” received the “Sound and Music” award at Westflix!!! I was so honored to be invited to the Paramount Lot to watch my film on the big screen, meet the wonderful students behind the mind-blowing festival, and reflect on all of those who contributed to the eerie and powerful sound of the film. Of course, this award would not have been possible without the amazing scoring of @billywaldman. I was so blessed to experience your geniusness and creativity. Thank you to @jacklenskov and @sahil_banker_ for recording the sounds on set, and to @westflix for creating such a magical night! by @deangofnung
I am beyond shocked that I have been named a 2026 National @youngarts Award Winner in Film/Narrative. None of this would be possible without your support, and I am extremely grateful for everyone who has made a positive impact on my storytelling path. #youngarts #youngarts2026 by @deangofnung
