Bonfires burning bright
Pumpkin faces in the night
I remember Halloween
Dead cats hanging from poles
Little dead are out in droves
I remember Halloween
Brown leafed vertigo
Where skeletal life is known
I remember Halloween
This day anything goes
Burning bodies hanging from poles
I remember Halloween
Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween
Candy apples and razor blades
Little dead are soon in graves
I remember Halloween
This day anything goes
Burning bodies hanging from poles
I remember
Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween
Halloween, Halloween, Halloween, Halloween

New York and Justin are synonymous to me. my whole life here has been by Justin’s side and no one has ever had my back the way he did. he brought me into his community of friends with open arms, employed me, took me to Europe for the first time, sat me next to him at the most insane tables, mentored and shared knowledge, talked shit, never gatekept and was like my North Star in my whole life. beyond all that even just simply he was just one of my best friends I’ve ever had. he would have been the first person to text me making fun of me or be sarcastically antagonistic for this post. And these were the most safe for work photos on the thousands of him I have on my phone and these took a while to find. I love you forever Justin and now that u can’t dispute it I just wanted to say that your father is definitely 10000% stiv bators.

Two of the most infamous characters in the American underground, Zz railbanger and “the Cuban Sphinx” rene j nunez have finally made a record…after being talked about in idea for over 10 + years (mostly between the hours of 2-6am in various bath rooms and sketchy alleys and or dumpsters at across the Country) During quarantine when everyone freaked out and went back to school to code or whatever / having some identity crisis started playing dress up with their music genre identity by going bedroom country or starting safe and ethical “punk / metal” bands ..we booked out the highest fidelity studio (rip strangeweather) we could and wrote and recorded a récord z had in his back catalog of ideas in his head . (all first takes) in 3 days. Carson Cox on drums , Dave vassoloti on guitar , z on bass . René on vox and Recorded by Ben Greenberg who also plays guitar. New age outlaw glam metal. “ My job was not to imitate her," she begins by clarifying. I was interested in her feelings, her journey, her insecurities and her voice, in the sense that she didn't really have one,” To tell this story, it’s important to show all these moments in life that made her end the way she did. It was necessary to explain it. Everyone in the cast knew we had to go to uncomfortable places. Of course, the reaction that gets the most attention is the one in the U.S., but that wasn’t the whole experience. It’s hard to hear these reactions, but you can always go back to what you experienced, and why you did it, and the reasons why you were attracted to the project. That is not going to change. You have the director, and you have other actors that you can always talk to. As hard as it is to hear when people don’t like your film, it is what it is. It was not a movie that was made to please people or to make people like it. It is a hard movie to watch."

I’m performing a piece as horoscope titled “goddess 1A” for the closing ceremony of nick Klein’s “bring flowers to the theater.” Exhibition at @saras.worldwide .

horoscope - coarse eden unfinished ep

I don’t hide behind experimental music. I know It’s easy to dismiss as just some bullshit thing and I actually kinda understand that. to every real musician or people who took time to learn their craft the correct way and know how to express things exactly to the point that they want with no other interpretations, i totally understand if you have that view point of my work and I wish I was disciplined and had dedicated more time and effort into learning how to do that correctly like a-lot of my talented friends who had gone to school or made their own independent studies. I hope what I do means and is more than just buying a bunch of gear and turning it on. I really do try. i try to match temperaments with tones and try to mimic or create narratives or a snapshot of my fantasies or dreams or ideas or emotions or whatever the fuck it is Im trying to do or say. it just fits the chaotic and abstract nature of my mind. I know I’ve never been the smartest person in the room, or been most attractive or have the biggest dick or been most well read or original or skilled or talented person to deserve the desired outcome of how I want to be perceived in life and art but I’m also not too cool enough to care or to be ironic just to deflect critique with a nonchalant attitude or be a joke. i stand behind whatever i make even if it’s easy to dismiss because i know what picture it paints in my head or feeling it gives me when I zone out listening to it on my headphones or speakers but yeah i guess it’s presumptive to think it would do that for you. Thats my failure i guess. It’s my own fault for having that kind of hope imposed on people. Im trying to not have hope anymore and even thou I’m never content I’m trying to just be ok with what is. recorded in 2022. “I have a one-track mind . That’s all I’m interested in – love. And the lack of it. When it stops. And the pain that’s caused by loss of things that are taken away from us that we really need. ”
— John Cassavetes

The Mellotron is an electro-mechanicalmusical instrument developed in Birmingham, England, in 1963. It is played by pressing its keys, each of which pushes a length of magnetic tape against a capstan, which pulls it across a playback head. As the key is released, the tape is retracted by a spring to its initial position. Different portions of the tape can be played to access different sounds. As described in Wikipedia. It's referred to as the first sampler . It was heavily used by progressive and psychedelic rock bands in the 60’s and 70s which is where I first noticed it and became infatuated with it notably and obviously in king crimson and Vincent Gallo’s use of it in the early 2000’s. After working with tape loops and samples for a while..I always kept thinking about the mellotron. So anytime someone I knew would be recording something in strange weather ( thanks don and ben) or a studio with one, I would go and take my sampler or 4 track and record whenever I could. I've been in such a dark place for the last 5 months, so I'm trying to focus on beauty and things that bring me joy. I keep trying to distract myself with movies, paintings, a bottle of wine, an instagram post from someone beautiful...honestly anything that makes me smile for a second. everytime i see these takes on my laptop and play them and they make me happy so instead of waiting for them to fit somewhere I figured I'd compile them together and release them and hope they make you feel the same.

“ Jealousy “
 By
René j Núñez

A film by René j Núñez. Music performed and recorded by René j Núñez. Written by p.hilton / s.storch. Súper 8mm

“I thought you were my best friend
I thought we'd be together till the end
You're not the girl I once knew
Tell me were she is, 'cause she's not you
You used to be that shoulder
That shoulder I could lean on through it all
But now it's getting colder
There's no love between these walls”
