Now living in San Francisco, they planned their wedding from across the country and returned to Omaha to celebrate with the people who have been part of their story along the way. The stunning Farnam Hotel provided a beautiful backdrop for their portraits, followed by their ceremony and reception at the newly renovated Joslyn Art Museum. And the Joslyn wasn’t just a gorgeous venue—it was a place both Emma and Ray had connections to as children, attending events and participating in performances there. How special to return to a place filled with childhood memories to begin this next chapter together! ✨ See more on the blog - https://www.lindseygeorgephotographyomaha.com/blog/emma-ray-wedding-at-joslyn-art-museum-omaha-ne/ #joslynartmuseumwedding #omahaweddingphotographer #nebraskaweddingphotographer #farnamhotelwedding #omahawedding by @debyrayna
Before the wedding dress, the vows, and the celebration at the Joslyn Art Museum, Emma & Ray’s wedding weekend began with an evening full of family, tradition, and meaningful moments. 🤍 Their tea ceremony and rehearsal dinner at Le Bouillon in Omaha’s Old Market were such a beautiful way to begin the celebration! The traditional tea ceremony was filled with meaningful exchanges as Emma & Ray served tea to their relatives, honoring their elders and receiving their blessings and well wishes for married life. The gifts and jewelry from family members added another special layer, with each exchange representing love, family heritage, and hopes for their future together. I love how traditions like these bring generations together and create moments that are about so much more than the wedding itself. They honor where a couple comes from while celebrating the family they are building together. After the ceremony, the evening continued with a rehearsal dinner surrounded by a large group of family and friends. Emma & Ray reserved the entire Le Bouillon restaurant for their celebration, creating a private, welcoming atmosphere filled with thoughtful details, meaningful speeches, laughter, and plenty of emotion. The heartfelt words shared by loved ones were such a special part of the evening. From stories and laughter to emotional expressions of love and encouragement, these are the moments that make a wedding weekend unforgettable. As Omaha high school sweethearts who have been together for 12 years and now live in San Francisco, Emma & Ray brought their story back to Omaha to celebrate with the people who have been part of their journey. What a beautiful beginning to a wedding weekend filled with tradition, connection, and so many memories! ✨ And the next day? Their gorgeous wedding at the newly renovated Joslyn Art Museum! 🤍 📷 Read the full tea ceremony & rehearsal dinner story: https://www.lindseygeorgephotographyomaha.com/blog/emma-ray-tea-ceremony-le-bouillon-omaha-ne/ 💍 Continue to their wedding day: https://www.lindseygeorgephotographyomaha.com/blog/emma-ray-wedding-at-joslyn-art-museum-omaha-ne/ #teaceremony #omahawedding #omahaweddingphotographer by @debyrayna
