June felt like 🪙 from heaven! • @elizaohman is literally the ONLY person I would be in a studio from 8-10pm & @laducashoes for and that’s because her classes (& HER) are so special. Last time I danced this combo was in 2020…in my grandma’s living room… What a journey, what a joy. • My back’s still sore 😂 #fullout 🧠: @elizaohman 🎥: @uriahroman 📍: @stepsonbroadway 💃🏾: @danbowen__ & @nickmeyers2433 I DO NOT OWN THE RIGHTS TO THE MUSIC, FOR ENTERTAINMENT PURPOSES ONLY ! by @deepaleaps

Happy first full week of second semester! Our dancers are back full time in the studios training and learning from some of the industries finest. ⭐️ We have a wonderful line up of esteemed educators working with our dancers. @limondance is graciously spending their time with our students, teaching them the ins and outs of the Limón modern technique! Thank you @deepaleaps for leading class this week ✨ 🧠: @deepaleaps @limondance 🎥: @holly_nicole_roberts 🌎: @stepsonbroadway #stepsonbroadway #steps #nyc #nycdance #stepsconservatory #conservatory #dancer #dance #dancetraining #danceprogram #professionaltraining #dancelife #studentlife #dancersofinstagram #training #nycdancers #jazzdance #hiphop #contemporarydance #moderndance #ballet by @deepaleaps

Konrad is 70! If you’ve met my dad, you’ll know he is goodness & kindness personified. He’s a wordsmith, an activist, a gentle heart, a steward of the land, a dreamer & the most hardworking person I know. He loves caps, conservation & community. He inspires everyone person who meets him. He’s Charlie’s favorite person. 🙄(pic 7) We call him “the saint” and I will never be able to match him and will forever be inspired by him. I love him beyond words & I’m so thankful he’s my dad. A couple months ago, the amazing @sanjuanpreservationtrust honored him in the most beautiful & true way - a lifetime achievement award. Swipe for my highlights. He’s saving the planet & somehow, I’m his Insta handle. I love ya Daddy, happy birthday PapaLeaps. by @deepaleaps
A Seattle Limón tour?!? For Dance This?!? Lil Deepa knew this would happen but older Deepa just feels lucky. This was my 4th time performing in DT, but my first as a reconstructor & professional dancer. This week felt like a culmination of the time, love & dedication poured into my career by my whole village and personally. Friends & fam from all walks of life got to celebrate the beauty of Limón and I got to share my hometown with some of my besties. • Huge shout out to my “Running Dance” cast - you all danced with heart, joy & confidence. I feel proud to witness your growth & beauty. • Thank you Rex, Juliet, Marisol, Kat, Annie & all for your hard work on this beautiful, worldly show. Swipe for a preview of the finale choreographed by Abby & Erik! • Big love to all I met & who inspired me this week, there’s truly no place like home. 🌊💖🍋🫶🏾🍾 “A Choreographic Offering” cast: Angela / @annamariamalins / @aubraheller / @fairest.snow.white / @emma.urf / Evelyn / Hannah / Harbor / @unsinkable_mollie_brown / @_nataliesenn_ / Nene / @sienam23 / @remembertherain.jay / @van.c0m / @yanshin_99 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 by @deepaleaps

EROSIONS is live! 🌊 Making this film included sand in places I didn’t know it could be, moving through many terrains with Lloyd & Andrew, falling in love with the community of Provincetown and dancing with the seals. I’m so thankful to @sitespecificdances & @michaelspencerphillips for taking a chance on me. Sending the BIGGEST love to the Erosions team - Emma, Lloyd, Andrew, Dino, Alex & everyone in Provincetown. You made this project sensational. 💛 A special shoutout to @spiritus_pizza, I love you. 🍕Ptown - check this documentary out! by @deepaleaps
