I GRADUATED FROM MIT! This was my 3rd degree and more than 3.5 years in the making. During the pandemic I had set a goal to go to business school but I had no idea that it would lead me to MIT. All of those hours filling out applications, setbacks, rejections and eventual success was all worth it. During my time at MIT I learned so much from a group of 400 incredible people and got to learn by going out and seeing the world. Now of course I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the village that helped guide me on this journey. My family + friends I’m forever thankful for y’all. Its hard to imagine that my parents immigrating to the US from Ghana for a better life would’ve led to this. I’m forever grateful for their guidance and their sacrifice to drop the life that they knew to venture into the world of unknown in hopes of creating a better life for me and my brothers. These last two years have been transformative and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to attend such an amazing school. It’s crazy to think it all started with a 1 min intro video 3 years ago (left it at the end for y’all to laugh at ) #mit #mitsloan #mitsloanclassof2023 by @deepelorm

Seeing Hiroshima and the devastation of America’s decision to drop a nuclear bomb on this city was rather heart breaking and honestly really made me realize how wrong it was to do this to these people However seeing the resilience, kindness and beauty of the city and the people gave me tremendous hope. The second picture in this post is one of the remaining buildings that survived the bomb and the seventh picture is a drawing from a child who lived through and witnessed the bombing of Hiroshima Japan 🇯🇵 trek part 5 - March 2023 ⛩️🕊️🕶️ by @deepelorm

M I T & C A M B R I D G E I LUV U 🦫🫶🏾 . . . Dear MIT & Cambridge, I spent 697 days from day 1 of school until my last day with y’all. I am so thankful for the community, friends , and new family members I gained over there past two years. I will always cherish the time we got to spend here and the lessons I was able to learn from professors, classmates, SOs and friends of MIT & Cambridge. The world travel I got to do opened my eyes to how the world works and how silly it is to sweat the small stuff. So with all of that I want to say thank you to this city, thank you Auburn Street, thank you to MIT and thank you to everyone I met these past two years. THANK YOU I loved every moment (good and bad) and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store! With Love 💜, Elorm G, MIT MBA 2023 🦫 . . . I’m so thankful for the people I’ve met , the opportunities to see the world, the experiences of living in Cambridge, the education I received, and the lifelong friends I got to meet along the way. “Not bad huh for some immigrants!” Up next is graduation but first a quick pit stop in the British Virgin Islands 🇻🇬 ! by @deepelorm
