![The first time I heard House music (Part 3/3). A short animated series by @deeptownjozi
The doors are shut because there is no more space. The bouncers are now protecting the DJ booth whilst they dance and video record what is unfolding before their eyes. A House music groove has gripped every single patron in the venue as the DJ transcends the dancefloor into House music heaven. Irons and kettles have entered the chat, many are screaming at the top of their lungs. A shirtless, teary eyed Thabo, looks to his brother with his fist clenched in the air.
Thabo: BRO, WHAT IS THIS PLACE?
Johannes: My brother, you see that big glowing red light? You’re at Deep Town Jozi. One of the most authentic House music experiences Johannesburg has to offer.
T: Bro, why do I want to cry?
J: Because today was the first time you heard House music little bro.
T: IT FEEL’S SO GOOD BRO
J: That’s right sir, not everyone understand House music, it’s a spiritual thing, a body thing, a soul thing.
T: Bro, I LOVE THIS PLACE
J: Yes bro, this our home, this is where we come to be with our people, this is where we come to forget our problems. This is @deeptownjozi
