SURPRISE!! “THE DROP” is now live!! After getting to show this gem at the @loljaxfestival and then at @thefridgemurrayhill this last weekend I’m super happy to be able to show anyone else around here who hasn’t gotten to see it yet. Or for whoever wants to watch it again for whatever reason.

This short has an amazing journey and it wouldn’t have even been close to this great without each and every one of these wonderful people. They each made it that much better and I’ll forever love this project.

Starring : @the_heidi_lynn @landon_castro @reamonjadon and myself
Shot by : @cptn._caveman
Edited by : myself

Our sound guru, Matthew Vigo, lets us in on his process. Take notes, y’all!! 🔈📝🧐 by @deftstrokesound

Matthew Vigo is a Jacksonville, Florida-based Sound Recordist, Composer, and all-around audio guy. Duval 'til we die! When he isn't swinging a boom pole, you can still find him glued to a pair of headphones like a second skin listening to ANYTHING that catches his attention. Vigo got into film through his love of music and has worked on many narrative projects including a couple of audio dramas and a handful of feature length films. If you run fast enough, you can catch him on location with one of your favorite local film teams. Photo by Brandon Rains @rains_cinematics by @deftstrokesound

Kilele is still making waves with its final festival run!

We will be releasing Kilele on YouTube in the upcoming weeks for everyone to be able to watch. The fact that we were able to be selected for not just one, but seven film festivals has truly been historic seeing the typical short film has a 13% chance of being selected! Wild run! by @deftstrokesound

Inspiration strikes in weird ways. @call.me.deftstroke got this awesome payphone mic from @trash_talk_audio and couldn’t be happier with the first tracks that have been recorded with it.

Here’s to a new year of doing cool stuff by @deftstrokesound

Hey all! It was brought to our attention that episode 8 of @thecacopodcast was missing from Spotify. This issue has now been resolved and it is available! If you already checked it out on another platform back when it dropped, THANK YOU! If you were waiting for the Spotify release, it’s finally here. Like with every episode, we had an ABSOLUTELY incredible cast. @call.me.deftstroke really put some work in on the sound design and music too so check it out, let us and @youvereachedsomewhere know what you think and we will have a new episode coming to you very soon.

Got something special cooking. Always a pleasure working with super talented people. Be on the look out for more cool stuff coming. by @deftstrokesound

While you all desperately await the newest release, why not listen to a certified hood classic?

If a group of myth busting teens wandering through abandoned buildings is your thing, check out Black Eye. It's got laughs, chills, and thrills to borrow from a cliche we just made up while writing this description.

Like and subscribe to @thecacopodcast on your favorite podcast listening platform and give us a shout and a rating while you’re at it! We love the feedback.

Some of the MANY cool things the team has been up to lately. If you weren’t tagged, lo siento. Brain dead lately. But we are super excited to stay busy and be working with such talented people.
