R U D R A K S H .

Translates to “Tears of Shiva” (Rudra = Shiva, Aksha = Tear).

Unlike precious metals or polished gems, the rough, organic texture of the seed carries no pretension. It serves as a physical reminder of our true nature: untamed, grounded, and intrinsically connected to the source.

Tradition holds that the seed creates a protective cocoon around your energy field, acting as a filter against heavy environments, disharmonious energies, and emotional exhaustion. A sacred talisman for wanderers, pilgrims, and yogis.

The first stop along our pilgrimage to the source of the Ganga was the Rudraksh Himalayan Retreat. This sanctuary and its people became that very cocoon. We were held with complete love and care by every single person, including the two golden retrievers, Misty and Casper.

Between the mountain views, the quiet energy, the nourishing food, and our daily walks to the Shiva temple, this is where our group anchored itself for the steps we would take together.

Legend says that after entering deep meditation for the liberation of all beings, Shiva opened his eyes and shed tears of compassion, which fell upon the earth to grow into the sacred Rudraksha tree.

These legends and ancient stories continue to ripple through me here at home. I’ve been back for a week now, and it is a gift to revisit these moments and share them with you.

Thank @deidrenorman and Ravi (photo 1) for your guiding wisdom!

🔥 ARE WE DIVINE?

We’ve talked about the Divine within us. Now let’s play with the question a little deeper.

📅 Sunday, September 27
🕕 6:00–7:30 PM

@deidrenorman returns for our 4th Sunday ARE WE gathering as we wonder together:

✨ Are We Divine? ✨

Expect less “sit and listen” and more come experience it — guided Kundalini meditation, simple practices, heart-forward conversation, and a little group-sourced wisdom for navigating this beautiful, bewildering life.

No experts. No perfect answers. Just humans getting curious together.

🌿 We’ll gather in the Virginian Courtyard if the weather plays nice — or tuck into another cozy spot at the Virg if it doesn’t.

Come as you are. Bring your curiosity. See what stirs.

Your auric field is both your protection and your projection in the world.

It is part of the energetic space you move through life with, and learning to become more aware of it can change the way you experience your relationships, your environment, and your own inner state.

Strengthening your field is not about shutting yourself off from the world. It is about becoming more conscious of your boundaries, your presence, and the energy you are carrying into each moment.

When we learn how to work with our energy intentionally, we become less reactive to what is happening around us and more connected to our own center.

In The Art of Kriya + the Subtle Body, we will explore the auric field, chakras, energy management, and kriya practices designed to deepen that awareness.

Last Soulful Sunday on the Cloudveil Rooftop — tomorrow— 8/30 with the wonderful Deidre Norman!

Let’s go, Jackson Hole! Let’s see how many people we can gather to wake up the vibration of love, community, courage, and kindness from within.

Yoga is an inner prayer — a practice of heart, breath, and soul connection. When we come together in community, that heart vibration multiplies, creating a ripple powerful enough to spark real change.

Let’s start locally, right here in Jackson, and show how love can outshine fear, hate, and anger. Let’s live from our hearts and make the change — one encounter, one relationship, one step at a time.
