🎤 And to round out our Lunch with Leo On the Road series from the 2026 Florida Realtors Convention, we’re closing it out with our two Co CEOs, Teresa King Kinney and Dionna Hall. 🏡🔥

So what is there to look forward to now that we are officially the largest Realtor association in the world?

According to Teresa, pretty much everything. 🙌🏽

Bringing an organization of this size together requires an incredible amount of work behind the scenes. The infrastructure is being built, the membership is coming together, and while there has certainly been a moment to celebrate what has been accomplished, the work hasn’t slowed down. New products and services continue to become available, giving members access to resources they may have never had before. 📲📈

For Dionna, part of the excitement is seeing all of our leaders come together around a shared vision for what this organization can become.

Empower great leaders. Give them the opportunity to lead. Then see how far they can take us. 🤝💡

What a perfect conversation to close out this series.

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve had the opportunity to share perspectives from leaders throughout our newly merged association. Different regions. Different roles. Different ideas. But one common thread throughout all of these conversations:

There is a tremendous amount of opportunity ahead. 🚀

🎤 Next up on our Lunch with Leo On the Road series!

From pizza to merger with 2027 Chairman Jonathan Dolphus. 🍕🏡😂

You’ll have to catch the pizza story on my podcast, but for this conversation, I wanted to know what Jonathan is most excited about as we head into 2027.

For him, it starts with bringing two organizations together and continuing to build the continuity needed to truly operate as one. 🤝

There’s also a tremendous opportunity ahead to keep advancing our MLS, expand the tools, products and services available to our members, and make sure that everything we’re building ultimately comes back to one thing: serving our membership and giving back. 🙌🏽📈

Leadership is about service, and there’s a lot to look forward to in this next chapter. 🔥

Now, because I believe in asking the questions that really matter…

I was informed Jonathan conveniently left his Apple Watch at home. ⌚️👀😂

So naturally, I had to check in on that calorie count.

🎤 Next up on our Lunch with Leo On the Road series!

This time I had the opportunity to spend a few minutes with 2026 Chairman of the Board Alfredo Pujols and ask what has him most excited about life after the merger. 🏡🤝

His first answer?

Getting to relax. 😂👏🏽

But beyond the well deserved break, Alfredo is excited about continuing the conversations and relationships with our membership while seeing two organizations that already worked closely together become even stronger as one.

From advocacy and political action to technology and expanded resources, there is tremendous potential in what we can accomplish together. And ultimately, that impact reaches beyond Realtors. A stronger association should also mean a better experience for the consumers and communities we serve. 🏡📲💪🏽

Of course, I couldn’t let him leave without asking one very important question…

Where are we eating in Miami? 🌴🍽️😂

💧 What does it really take to become a master of your craft?

For Robert “Bobby” Bargar, even 20 years of experience wasn’t enough.

Bobby spent two decades working for a manufacturer of water purification products, earning certifications and building tremendous experience along the way.

But the more he learned, the more he realized how much more there was to understand about water. 🧪💦

And Bobby takes pride in being the best at what he does.

So four years ago, he went back to school.

He began studying water chemistry, attending the Water Quality Association, and taking courses focused on water treatment and properly engineering systems designed to address contaminants from virtually any water source. 📚🔬

Well water. Seawater. Drinking water.

Different sources create different challenges, and the goal is understanding the science well enough to engineer the right solution for the consumer.

There’s something powerful about having decades of experience and still being willing to say:

There’s more for me to learn. 🎯

That’s what mastering your craft looks like.

I had the opportunity to hear from Sharon McLennon, our 2027 Treasurer of the newly merged association, about what has her most excited as we move forward together. 🏡🤝

One of the biggest opportunities this merger creates is alignment. Members across our regions can now benefit from a more unified experience, greater access to resources and opportunities, and connections that may not have existed before. 📊🌴

Even more importantly, decisions can now be made through the lens of what strengthens the entire organization and serves our membership as a whole. 💪🏽

As Sharon prepares to step into her role as Treasurer in 2027, she’s also focused on something every member deserves: understanding the value of their investment. 💰🔍

Greater openness. Greater access to leadership. Clearer communication around where membership dollars are going and, most importantly, what members are receiving in return.

Because when people understand the value, they can better take advantage of everything available to them. 🙌🏽🔥

Bringing our organizations together means greater access to information, more powerful tools and resources, and an even stronger collective voice when it comes to advocating for our industry. 📊🏛️💪🏽

There’s strength in numbers, but the real excitement is what we can accomplish with everything now working together.

And speaking of exciting… a HUGE congratulations to Karen on her appointment as 2027 Secretary of Florida Realtors! 👏🏽🎉 Well deserved and another incredible chapter ahead!

Information that once required Realtors to navigate multiple sources can now be accessed much more seamlessly, creating a better experience for our members and ultimately the clients they serve. 🙌🏽

Then there’s the power that comes with our collective size. More members means greater influence, stronger purchasing power, and opportunities to provide even more value across the association. 📈💪🏽
