mostly accurate thoughts about running the 2026 Chicago Marathon. The part where I had a very epic meltdown the entire drive home is better left for the footnotes #chicagomarathon2026 by @deniseadelek

there have been so many people, places and things that have impacted my journey to the starting line. I hated training for this marathon so effing much, and sometimes in the very same breath I loved it more than anything I had ever attempted.

I set off on this journey motivated by boredom and my inability to sit still, but it evolved into a bit more: the desire to show my kids that you can work hard at something you’re not good at and just enjoy the process. #chicagomarathon #2026chicagomarathon #momswhorun by @deniseadelek
