You, me, & dinner here

📍 @theastornyc - NoHo

Day trip to NYC ended with dinner at The Astor - located inside the Public Theater, it’s the perfect spot for a bite or drink before a show.

Gorgeous interiors, incredible service, moody lighting, and that old school New York charm I’m always searching for ✨

Haunted Car Wash 🎃👻 | AD

📍 @dreamcleancw - Palatine & Algonquin Locations

Over the weekend I dropped by Dream Clean Car Wash for their haunted care wash they were offering at select Chicagoland locations. It was one of the funniest things I have honestly done in a while - my dad & I had so much fun going through it together.

The crew was so much fun… They came right up to our windows, “cleaned” them off a few times, and even jumped out at us when we were least expecting it! In case you missed it, decorations are up at ALL locations through Halloween as well 🐈‍⬛🕷️

The car wash is free to members but if you activate your Unlimited Wash Club membership, you get your first month for just $20 and can still catch all the decorations as well! Dream Clean Car Wash is a locally-owned business with nine locations around Chicagoland, and they’re always finding ways to community together beyond just a traditional car wash!

I’m a sucker for a restaurant with old New York vibes!

Tucked away on the mezzanine of The Public Theater in NoHo, The Astor is a gorgeous new downtown restaurant inspired by the golden age of New York dining. Think timeless cocktails, intimate lighting, beautiful interiors with decades of theatrical artwork and memorabilia woven throughout the space. I recently visited with my friend @denisemarieko and we fell in love immediately!

It’s the perfect spot to eat before a show or just for a date night where you dress up, order a cocktail, and stay awhile.

Vodka Chicken Parm Sandwich 🐔

📍 @tablemercato - East Village (NYC)

One of the best sandwiches I’ve had 🫰🏼😫

I was in NYC yesterday for the day and my friend @rach.bires had seen this sandwich shop going viral - they’re originally from Boston & recently opened a spot in NYC.

They’re serving up these GIANT (genuinely they are enormous) sandwiches with these gorgeous chicken cutlets on them.

We got the Vodka Parm sandwich - Chicken cutlet, vodka sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, basil

& absolutely get a side of the spicy vodka sauce for dipping 😭

A little home upgrade 🏡

Added a new rug to my bedroom from the @loloirugs x @chrislovesjulia collection from @rugs_direct

I felt like the room was missing something - I wanted something to add a little more to the space & make it feel a bit cozier… while also adding a little depth

Emmeline rug in berry linen 🍓
