Some things are worth the wait…
.
During our visit to Vietnam in October we could not resist buying this statue made of the marble from Marble Mountain near Da Nang.
.
This statue symbolizes Eternal Love with its reference to infinity. This is a special piece for us. When we saw it in the marble shop it immediately drew us in. It felt as a natural part of us and its meaning aligns with us completely. It hit us both simultaneously in the same way. This marble carries the history and sacredness of the mountain… both epic and historic.
.
It sits at our entryway and joins our Fu Dogs welcoming all our guests. We truly loved our time in Vietnam and look forward to our return. Our memories and experiences during our visit will always be with us and will inspire us.
.
And wow, what an amazing shipping crate and packaging.
.
And we want to thank the team at the @fsnamhai for assisting us and for arranging our guide who made our tour of the mountain and the shop possible.

…Eternal Love,

One of the most beloved parts of coming together is hearing Dennis share his magic on the sitar, flute, and handpan.

Listen to the handpan’s layers of sound and take 3 deep breaths 💨Notice the feelings that arise, and give yourself a moment to stay with them.

A small invitation to go inward.

Part of my practice preparing for our Into Stillness event with the @thesoundhealerscollective this Sunday, 11/1…
.
Practicing short riffs and note bending over a Tanpura drone recording in A… raw with no effects… the bathroom has a natural reverb…
.
That’s a Native bass flute in A pentatonic minor… it’s one of my favorite flutes… of course I have several…
