As obstacles come this is up there, satin lacquer, PPF and an aluminium panel.

Mercedes Benz G Wagon with a small but really sharp dent on the top of the wing.

The PPF was scratched from the impact of the damage, but it did it’s job, and that’s to protect the paintwork.

If we could remove the dent from the aluminium panel, the owner was happy to live with the scuff in the PPF, and that’s what we managed to do.

Satin lacquer is very easy to mark, so wrapping it in PPF saved a pretty involved fill and re-paint if the dent couldn’t be removed.

If a panel is already covered with PPF and has a dent on it, we apply own PPF.

The reason for this is to protect the original sheet from being marked when we’re tapping down.

Although this job was already scuffed and scratched from the damage impact, it still kept it free of any further marks, and demonstrates how well this can work if it was a different job that without any scuffs or scratches on it.

Dents can be removed from panels that are wrapped or installed with paint protection film.

The @stanliner Rolling Spoon tool was used to repair the dent. The large smooth face of the tool is perfect for hitting to the very bottom of sharp pits and dents like this.

Access to the back of the panel is the best way, but in some cases we have been able to remove them with glueing, its all down to that particular repair.

McLaren Artura in for 2 aluminium door dent removals.

The recent storm blew some outdoor furniture into the door and caused 2 dents, 1 considerably deeper than the other.

There is no access to the back side of the panel in this area, so the dents were glue pulled from the outside of the panel.

The deeper dent took longer to repair than the shallower one, and both dents repaired really well.

The paintwork on this sports car is from the MSO line, and is a very extensive repaint if that’s what it needed.

Using paintless dent removal saves this form being the case, and left the paintwork original.

Audi Q5 front wing bodyline dent repair.

This quite severe damage was repaired using both glue pulling from the outside of the panel and then pushing tools on the inside of the panel.

The wing edge was bowed in above the arch trim, this area was straightened first using lateral tension to stretch it outwards.
One the shape had been restored it took the tension out of the rest of the damage, which was then pushed from the inside of the panel.

This dent was repaired for £420+vat. This saved a potential panel replacement, filling and painting and was back on the road same day.

Porsche Macan crease dent repairs on the drivers door.

2 creases near the mirror and 1 near the door handle were removed by accessing the back of the panel, to reshape the dented area with specialist pdr tools.

The one near the handle was straightforward, like most door dents we could reach it down the window gap.

The 2 in the photo were behind the upper brace, meaning we couldn’t get to it down the window gap.

By removing the inner door card, the mirror housing can be loosened and then removed, which then allows good access in that area all the way to the edge of the panel.

These creases were repaired for £395+vat, which included the repair time, and the stripping and refitting of the parts.

It was carried out at the customers home in their garage, for an additional call out fee of +£50+vat.

All prices quoted are subject to each individual job.
Factors such as the size of the dent, the depth of the dent, the location of the dent on the panel, if it needs glue pulling or inner parts of the panel removing for access, and many more factors contribute to the final price.

Our mobile service in our north west service area is typically £50+vat, further distances agreed and the call out fee can be increased.

The paintless dent repairs on this Porsche SUV saved a substantial bodyshop, fill and repaint job.

The paintwork was kept original and intact.

Porsche GT2 RS in for a crease dent repair on the near side sill, and several ripples/dents on the off side quarter panel.

The crease dent on the sill was in a difficult area to repair and the causing damage had slightly marked the paint, but not enough to fully go through the lacquer, meaning we could still glue pull the dent back out.

The dents and ripples on the face of the quarter panel next to the drivers door are quite common on these and other models of Porsche similarly shaped to this.

This area was repaired using cold glue and a slide hammer to pull the dented area back up, then a blending hammer to smooth out the imperfections back to a factory finish.

The owner was prepared to go down the bodyshop route, after research and looking at options he came across Paintless Dent Removal, finally a recommendation from a Porsche group and booked in with us.

Porsche Macan lower front door bodyline dent repair.

Lower bodyline dents on any car are usually some of the most time consuming and difficult dents to repair.

Access is typically restricted, and good leverage to push the dent can be hard to generate.
That’s why these dents cost more to fix.

This Porsche Macan had the door card and carrier plate removed so we could get to the back of the dent to repair it.
The steel along these bodyline is particularly stout too, good for the vehicle and owner, bad for us to fix.

This dent was repaired for £375+vat, which covered the time needed, the repair, stripping and refitting, and a quick surface polish once finished.

This paintless dent repair saved the Porsche door being filled and repainted, and was back on the road within half a day.

A 5 star Google review from the customer followed.

Glue pull repair on quarter panel bodyline.

This dent was pulled from the outside of the panel.
This type of repair is generally used when there is no or restricted access to the backside of the dent, where we would usually push the dented area back to its original shape.

Sometimes glue pulling is a quicker and cleaner repair method compared to pushing, even if there is access, and even on certain bodylines, such as the repair on this Nissan.

This dent repair was carried out for £295+vat, which included a quick polish and reapplication of a ceramic spray, as requested by the customer.

For your own quote, send over 2/3 photos or a video of the dent, showing it from all angles and the full panel, along with the vehicle model and area you are based.

We offer a mobile dent repair service which covers the majority of Lancashire, Cheshire, and Greater Manchester for an additional call out fee, depending where you are based and the type of repair.

Larger repairs are carried out at our studio in Leyland, where you can wait in our comfy waiting room, or you can drop it off and pick up when ready.

Porsche Macan door dent removal with GPR - glue pull repair.

When access to the backside of a dent is restricted or blocked, meaning we can’t get a PDR tool or bar to it because a beam or inner structure is in the way, we pull or lift the dent from the outside of the panel using glue pulling.

This repair method can sometimes take a little longer, but in some cases can make the repair time much quicker.

Where we would be pushing from the back of the panel, there can be 100’s of tiny pushes kept together depending on the size of the dent, with glue pulling we can lift a much larger are in one go, making the repair much cleaner and quicker.

That was the case with this repair on the Porsche Macan.

This dent was quite sharp, a pointed door edge catching the panel causing the dent. The bracing on the inside of the door blocked the access to the back, so the dent was removed from the outside.

This particular dent was removed for £180+vat and took just under an hour.

All dents are quoted and priced individually, all cars are different on the inside, thickness of the panels are different, and all dents are different.

For your own quote, simply send over 2/3 photos from different angles with 1 showing the full panel, or a video, along with the vehicle model and area you are based.
