$800/month for a gym membership. Would you do it? 😬 Invitations for the new Life Time Castle Pines are rolling out, and our family is debating whether to join For our family of 5, we’d be looking at around $800/month Yes, that sounds like a lot. 😂 But we’re a pretty active family, and years ago when we lived/worked downtown, we belonged to the Denver Athletic Club and loved having a club that was more than just a place to work out. So…could Life Time be worth it? Here’s where we’re at: ✅ Huge fitness floor — definitely something we’d use. ✅ Classes — Yoga, Barre, HIIT, Alpha, Ultra Fit, etc. And I’m a sucker for reformer Pilates, so CTR has my attention. ✅ Recovery — saunas, steam rooms, cold plunges, whirlpools + recovery lounge. 🤔 Outdoor pool + Beach Club — looks AMAZING…but we already have great neighborhood pools all summer. Is this really a value-add for most Castle Pines families? 👎 9 pickleball courts — We have literally never played pickleball. 😂 Maybe Life Time turns us into a pickleball family? IDK 🤔 Kids Academy — our younger kids are past the age where we really need childcare, BUT I love the idea of there being other kids around. Are there activities for older elementary and middle school kids beyond childcare? 🤔 Social aspect — This might be the deciding factor for me. Is Life Time actually a place where people meet friends? Are there social events, leagues, groups, etc.? So I need opinions. Are you joining? Passing? Still debating? And if you already belong to another Life Time, I REALLY want to hear from you: 1. Is it worth the premium price? 2. How difficult is it to get into popular classes? 3. Is there a real social/community component? 4. What amenity did you THINK you’d use vs. what do you ACTUALLY use? This lovely home in Founders Village in Castle Rock, Colorado is within a car ride of so much 🚗 🏡! $525,000 4 beds, 3.5 baths | 2,359 sqft 📍 5605 E. Prescott Avenue, Castle Rock, CO 80104 Listing here: https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/5605-E-Prescott-Ave-Castle-Rock-CO-80104/13494296_zpid/ Beautifully refreshed, move-in ready and tucked in on a quiet cul-de-sac street! This light-filled Founders Village home offers a fantastic floorplan with 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, soaring ceilings and flexible living space across three levels. New white oak LVP flooring throughout the main and upper levels, fresh interior paint and updated lighting give the home a bright, modern feel. Even better? A newer roof, furnace, hot water heater and kitchen appliances mean many “big-ticket” updates are already done. Step inside to an impressive two-story living room, where vaulted ceilings and oversized windows fill the space with natural light. Just beyond, a dedicated dining room opens to a private back deck, creating an easy indoor/outdoor dining and entertaining experience. The eat-in kitchen features newer appliances, generous cabinet and counter space and overlooks the dramatic two-story great room with fireplace. A mudroom, powder bath and 2-car attached garage complete the main level. Upstairs, the primary suite feels especially private with cathedral ceilings, a spacious bath and no shared walls. Two additional bedrooms overlook the backyard and share a full hall bath. The finished basement adds even more versatility with a full bathroom and space that works beautifully as a fourth bedroom, guest suite, rec room, home office or workout space. Outside, mature trees provide shade and privacy in the fenced backyard and add excellent curb appeal. The location is hard to beat: set on an exceptionally quiet cul-de-sac street, while enjoying the amenities of Founders Village, including a seasonal pool, pickleball courts, soccer fields and baseball fields. —Mariel 😊 www.marielross.com mross@livsothebysrealty.com Cell/text: 720.320.3536 📞 Your Denver real estate broker ❤️ by @denverbusinessbuzz
