A few years ago, I tried to end it all.

I was numb. Exhausted. Done.

I used to curse this body.

Back when people called it perfect.

Greek God. Magazine ready. Countless Covers. Paid to be photographed.

What no one saw was the isolation.
The abandonment wounds. The depression.

That body wasn’t confidence. It was armor.

I learned quickly that if I impressed people with my body, I didn’t have to let them close.
Distance felt safer than intimacy.

That body protected a scared little boy who didn’t yet have self-worth.
Didn’t yet have integrity. Didn’t yet know who he was without approval.

So I used it as a distraction.
From healing. From character building. From letting people really see me.

For a long time, I hated that body.

Not because of how it looked. But because of what I used it for.

Recently, something shifted.

I realized it was never the body I despised.
It was the character inside it that was still wounded.

My abs had nothing to do with my pain.
My body fat had nothing to do with my healing.

That body carried me through the darkest years of my life. And I’m finally grateful for it.

If that body could speak, it would say thank you.
Thank you for surviving. Thank you for enduring.
Thank you for keeping me alive long enough to grow.

I’m sharing this because there is a POWERFUL MESSAGE BEHIND IT.

If you hate your body right now, STOP.

Your body is not your enemy. It’s your vessel.

It’s carrying you through a hard chapter.
In God’s image...With more strength than you realize.

Love your body where it’s at.
And also love where you’re taking it.

Those two things can exist together.

Punishment has never created lasting change.
Love always does.

When you stop fighting your body, it stops fighting you.
Fat loss becomes easier.
Energy comes back.
Patterns soften.

When you choose love and leadership over shame, your body follows that identity.

Don’t head into 2026 at war with yourself.

The answer has and always will be love.
