Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Nik and Izzy from @ealing.mencap to BANG HQ. It was a fantastic opportunity for Ealing Mencap to learn more about our work with young people and the wider community. Together with Derrick and our interns, we had some great discussions about the future of our partnership and the exciting opportunities we can create together. These include opportunities for BANG interns to support programmes at Ealing Mencap, while creating pathways for young people from Ealing Mencap to engage with programmes and opportunities at BANG. We thoroughly enjoyed their company and left the meeting feeling inspired by what we can achieve together. Here's to building on a partnership that began through BANG and Ealing Mencap's work with Berkeley! #bangcharity #wearebang by @derrickogole

More opportunities for young people to turn their ideas into something real. 🧡 We’re proud to continue our partnership with BANG, who supported more than 30 young people last academic year through their STACKS: Founders Lab programme. From concept development and branding to financial modelling and website design, young people had the chance to explore entrepreneurship, build practical skills and develop their ideas. We’re excited to be working together again this academic year, creating inclusive opportunities for more young people to build their confidence, skills and aspirations. A huge thank you to the BANG team for continuing to be part of the collective. 👏 #YouthEmployment #WorkExperience #Entrepreneurship #YouthOpportunity #CollectiveAction YouthCareers by @derrickogole
Just a snapshot of getting to the Ealing Half Marathon. I had to PB so no in run footage haha Once again, thank you to all the supporters who made this experience possible! ❤️ by @derrickogole
Today, I completed my first-ever half marathon! 🏃🏾‍♂️🏅 With only a week of preparation, I genuinely can’t believe what I achieved. I’ve always loved running 5Ks, but I knew I could push myself further. Today proved it. And I definitely didn’t do it alone. A huge thank you to the incredible people and organisations who supported me along the way. Berkeley Foundation and St George, who I work with through BANG to develop young leaders and entrepreneurs. Jetts Gym in Harlesden, where I trained and prepared - a gym I love because of the incredible people there, including Roshan. Saph, thank you for pushing me through those intense weekly HYROX sessions, week in, week out. And the amazing team at BANG, who believe in my ideas. A massive thank you as well to the incredible sponsors, Cannons Security and Ealing Feeling, who help bring the event to life. One half marathon down. I already can’t wait to run another one and next time, I’m coming for that PB. 🏃🏾‍♂️💨 #marathon #halfmarathon #runner #21k #ealinghalfmarathon by @derrickogole
