September 14th, 2026: The Loss

8 days later.... 8 days after the baby shower, nobody knew that it would be the last time we would all be together.

I wish i had the right words to say about you. Your loss came as such a shock... nobody expected it. I mean, do i talk about your accolades, and how you graduated from brown university alongside one of the Kennedy's? Or do i talk about your heart and how you'd do anything for your family, do i talk about your passion for sports and nature? Or should i talk about how you'd loved that rich auntie life and literally spoiled us rotten?

I just wish that love you so generously poured into us, you also poured into yourself. You're so beautiful Jenny and i hope you knew just how much we all loved you. I'm sure you did, but i wish i was able to tell you one last time. I hope heaven is everything you said it would be. I hope you and your parents are thinking of master plans to bail Kota out the NICU 😂.. watch over us for me. Please. I love you. 💕 by @desi.thedreamer

September 6, 2026- The Celebration
First, I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to every single person who came out to celebrate with us and help welcome our sweet baby Dakota. 🥹💙

There was so much love in that room, and looking back on it now, I’m even more grateful for every hug, every laugh, every gift, every helping hand, and every person who took the time to show up for us.
To my mama…

“We did it, Joe.” 🥹😂

Because Lord KNOWS there were plenty of moments when I was ready to say forget the whole thing and throw in the towel. 😂 None of this would have been possible without you. Thank you for helping me plan, prepare, keep it together, and make sure your grandson had everything he needed before he even made his entrance. You have always been the person I can count on, and becoming a mother has only made me understand and appreciate everything you’ve done for me even more.

I love you more than life itself. Truly. 🥹🤍

And to Dee, my partner through all of this… thank you for loving me through every version of this pregnancy — the excited me, the emotional me, the overwhelmed me, the exhausted me, and the me who probably got on your last nerve more than once. 😂 Thank you for being there through the planning, the stress, the appointments, the worries, and everything in between.

Watching you prepare to welcome our son made this experience even more special for me. Dakota is so lucky to have you as his dad, and I’ll forever be grateful for the beautiful little family we’ve created together. 💙

This baby shower was more than just a party to me. It was a reminder of how incredibly loved Dakota already was before he ever entered this world.

He had an entire village waiting for him.

And I’m nowhere near done thanking everyone who made this day what it was… so the rest is in the comments because Instagram clearly underestimated how much I had to say. 😂💙🧸 by @desi.thedreamer

I almost didn’t post this.
