We’re flying at you now!!! Coming in HOTTT💗💖
With all of the mystic patterns and colors radiating off of the both of us!! 😍💖

My bull here named, Audaz,💕was inspired by the brightly colored Alebrijes!
A fantastical mythical creature celebrated in Mexican folk art. Sculptures depicting beings with the physical features of one or more real or imaginary animals with intense colors and intricate patterns. Alebrijes are spirit animals in the Land of the Dead meant to guide spirits on their journey to the after life and nowadays it is believed that the sculptures protect one’s home from evil spirits. One of the most famous crafts in Mexico that also makes the point that every Alebrije is unique.

This past Spring we collaborated with @lasbestexpandedlearning and had the opportunity to work with youth across the SFV by coming to their schools and hosting art assemblies featuring some of the best artists in the 818! We had a lot of fun getting to teach these students new art techniques and creating colorful art.

Thank you to every school we visited, their staff and everyone who participated in our art workshops. Special thanks to our amazing instructors

Another big thank you to LAs BEST for the collaboration. Let us know if you would like for us to come to your school? by @desiboocreations

We had a special visit from @desiboocreations, who teamed up with the Corita Art Center to lead a box tower mural workshop for our Casa community members! 🎨

Our community members got creative and brought their own designs to life, and their artwork will be showcased at Corita Day on November 7, 2026, from 12 to 4 PM at SCI-Arc, located at 350 Merrick St., Los Angeles.

Come see their artwork and celebrate Corita Day with us. We hope to see you there! by @desiboocreations

I’m so happy to finally share the 3rd and final Electrical Box I worked on for Pacoima Beautiful’s Green Together Collaborative project!
This one was the Collab Box!! With @jpmurals 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Woot Woot!!!
JP and I go way back to 2018 or before when we were both in the same artists in residence cohort at our beloved Pacoima Arts Incubator (That is no longer 😭😩) gosh what a time!! 🥲
Since then we’ve gotten to work together and within the same realms on lots of projects throughout the years and it was a blast to work together again for this one!
Our community of artists here in Pacoima and the SFV is a huge treasure. I don’t mean to toot our own horn but man, I believe the San Fernando Valley is one of those places where “there’s something in the water” because the humans that have grown out of these areas have giant hearts that just shine! I love our home town and all of the people I’ve grown with and have gotten to meet. There’s so much love in these streets!!!
Thank you @pacoimabeautiful @lacommons & @trustforpublicland for making it possible for a local artist like myself to have this opportunity to spread some of that love back to the community through public art! 🫶🏽🥹

This box is located on Filmore St & Laurel Canyon. ✨🌟✨
If you get a chance to pass by it give it an oeww, an awww and a wave! 🤭😁👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽

Happy Sunny Day everyone! 🙌🏽🌞✨🤸🏽‍♀️🤸🏽‍♀️🤸🏽‍♀️ by @desiboocreations

Located on Herrick Ave & Paxton St ❤️❤️❤️
.
I’m so in love and obsessed with this one! ~Go ahead, Zoom into all of it and admire all of the details! 🤭🤤🥰😁😁😄
Oh man! I enjoyed painting this box so much, I’d love to paint it again on canvas🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
The crow is a prominent sighting in Pacoima and all around the SFV and beyond. It was mentioned as a local symbol more than a few times in our community interviews that were held before designing our electrical boxes. I was so happy to showcase this animal as a symbol of our area and adding my own cosmic whimsy to it’s natural beauty.🥹🫶🏽💫
I hope this color palette brings you nothing but joy!!! Because it just makes me swoon!!! 😍🤤😍😍😍

Progress photos of Electrical Box #2 from our Pacoima Beautiful Project!!
I had sooooo much fun painting this box, the colors are so delicious and the design represents our city beautifully!
This design was in collaboration with one of our mentored youth on this project whose vision was aligned with what I also wanted to highlight about Pacoima’s landscapes. Working with a group of big hearted youth on this project was a favorite part for me. I feel so much love for our future knowing we have youth coming up right now who care so much about our shared community.
This electrical box was also located along the walking paths of the Vaughn learning centers, so every morning and afternoon there were groups of parents and students (& the business owners across the street!) sharing their excitement and appreciation for this work in progress. -As well as sharing waters, snacks, and lots of words of encouragement! 🥹🥲🌞🌞🌞
This experience was so special.

Thank you so much:
@pacoimabeautiful
@lacommons
@trustforpublicland !!!
