"Italian Rustic Villa" by Daniela di Niro is a spectacular collection of discovered ornaments in Italian architecture, a setting which the artist masterfully depicts and reinterprets. Shown here, these abstractions find a newfound richness in their geometric and color compositions, making these beautiful representations worthy of their own appreciation. @designdniro

"Fiesta Folk Exclusive Patterned Collection" is a bright and vibrant series of dense rhythms that exploits colors to their maximum. Each piece of the pattern seems to radiate outward with great force until it reaches the proximity of other illustrations, coming together into a beautiful whole. @designdniro

Ok, let’s be real: I’m not exactly the reigning champion of Spoonflower challenges. 🏆❌
If I only looked at the scoreboard, I’d probably feel like a total loser. I’ve been submitting designs for years. The results? The top 100 feels like a mirage, and the only time I actually made it to the top 10 was during lockdown back in 2020.

Yet, I’m still here. Why?

Because I realized that a ranking doesn’t define the beauty of a pattern, nor the talent of the designer behind it. Challenges are a game. They are a tool to keep us practicing, step out of our comfort zones, and experiment with palettes or themes we would otherwise never touch.

The real prize isn’t a Spoonflower trophy (although, i mean... a little glory wouldn’t hurt! 😂), but the fact that those designs now exist in my shop. They are out in the world, and they are part of my journey.

So this post is for us. For my fellow designers, my creative friends, and everyone who sometimes stares at the numbers and feels like they’re at the back of the line: let’s not quit.

Let’s keep drawing what we love. Our worth cannot be measured by how many clicks a stranger gives us on a Wednesday night. We are creating art, building businesses, and pouring our souls into our work—and that is already a massive win.

✨ To all my creative friends out there: how are we feeling today? Let’s roast the algorithm together and support each other in the comments! 👇

Here’s my entry for the @creatsyofficial Halloween Design Challenge.

For this super cool mockup, I chose some of my patterns from the Ghouls & Co. Retro Whimsigoth Halloween Harlequin collection.

I had planned to draw something completely different for this contest, but life, fate, or whatever you want to call it, had other plans. 😅
So today, I really needed some peace and quiet, and I ended up creating this piece for the Golden Coil Limited Edition Design Contest 2026.
It’s a bit of a last-minute submission, but it perfectly reflects my current need for serenity. ✨

Finally stopped watching from the sidelines!
After years of missing out, I’m so excited to share “Painterly Botanical Mosaic Patchwork” my first entry for the Slowdown Art Comp 2026!
Hope you like it! 🌱✨

Taking a break from social media this summer was the best decision I could have made for my creativity. 🌿
We often get trapped in the algorithm loop, feeling the anxiety of having to show every single process and constantly chasing numbers. But the truth is, the value of our art is not measured by likes or views.
Staying away from here allowed me to rediscover the pleasure of creating purely for the sake of it. I realized the importance of investing in SEO for my shop, and I remembered how much I love designing not only patterns, but also stationery, greeting cards, and invitations. 💌
And the most beautiful part? Knowing that when I come back, I find a wonderful community of peers and artists supporting me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for being here.
Slide through the carousel to read all my thoughts and tell me: have you ever felt this way? Do you ever take social media detox moments? Let’s talk in the comments! 👇

I’m finally back online, and I brought some spooky magic with me! 🕳️✨
I know I’ve been quiet all summer, but truth is, I spent my time offline designing and creating behind the scenes. I have several new collections ready, and I’ll be sharing them with you bit by bit over the coming weeks!
To kick things off, let’s travel back to where we left off before the break: Halloween vibes. If you loved my last pattern, you are going to adore its new sister collection: Ghouls & Co 🕸️🔮
Think retro Whimsigoth aesthetic, spooky diamonds, harlequin lattices, and argyle prints, wrapped up in a cozy autumn palette of ochre gold, sage green, and dusty lilac. Perfect for adding a sophisticated, eerie touch to your autumn home decor or DIY fashion projects.

The collection is now officially live on my @spoonflower and @redbubble shop!

👉 Check out the link in my bio to explore all the designs.

Let’s be honest: taking a summer break from this app was the best decision ever. I got my time back, focused on what actually matters, and created so many new designs (and maybe survived a heatwave inside a cave 🫠).
But after all these years, I’m not ready to delete this page just yet. So, here I am. Still kinda chic, still completely clueless about my next move.
