STILL REMAINS approaches destruction as a generative act.

Bringing together artists who unsettle materials and images in different ways, the exhibition asks what becomes possible when familiar forms are pushed toward instability. Some artists manipulate and disrupt materials; others explore image-making through distinct processes: tracing the sun on film with a moving pinhole camera, or bringing printing into a sculptural practice shaped by architectural forms.

Across these approaches, creation and destruction become part of a shared process of transformation.

Join us this weekend at Gowanus Open Studios.
