Introducing Auren A renewable energy brand dedicated to providing sustainable and reliable green energy to households, communities, municipalities, and businesses in Norway. To put it simply, they aim to harness energy from the sun, wind, and water. The goal was simple: to create an identity that not only communicated the brand's core values but also had true meaning beyond aesthetics. After weeks of studying the renewable energy industry, conducting in-depth research, and thoroughly analyzing the audience, I achieved this goal by crafting a memorable identity that was unique and meaningful. The logomark is a combination of the first letter of the brand "A", and an abstract wave symbol (a common element in water and wind). Together, they communicate the core essence of Auren. The wordmark is a customized geometric sans-serif font that clearly communicates Auren's approachability. I also crafted three abstract icons to represent the sun, the waves from the wind, and the waves of the water. This positions Auren as a nature-inspired brand, helping people generate power from Norway's natural resources. Through my in-depth research, I was also able to select colors and a typeface that further emphasize what Auren is all about. The colors and typeface communicate Auren's values of clean energy, sustainability, approachability, and reliability. What do you think about this project? Was I able to capture the very essence of Auren and what they want to communicate to their audience? Let me know in the comments. More about this project is on Behance. Introducing Vexa. A fitness brand born out of passion to make fitness more accessible, modern, and community-focused. The challenge was to create a brand identity that went beyond aesthetics, yet communicated the brand's mission and values efficiently while maintaining minimalism. Without the use of cliché gym icons or elements in Vexa's identity, I was tasked to create an identity that was memorable and resonated with the brand's target audience. I solved this through the concept of fist bumps since they are a common theme at the gym. They can depict motivation, support, collaboration, and teamwork at the gym which are values necessary for a community to thrive. With the side view of a fist considered, I crafted an identity that is not only distinct, but also communicates the core values and mission of Vexa to its target audience. What do you think about this project? Did I do justice to it? Let me know in the comments. The full case study is available on Behance. Being a designer isn’t always as glamorous as it looks online. There are challenges nobody really prepares you for such as self-doubt, rejection, inconsistent clients, and questioning whether you’re actually good enough. I’ve experienced some of these myself, and I’m sure I’m not alone. Swipe through. You might see one you’re currently dealing withđŸ€·â€â™‚ïž. What if the things that make us different didn't have to be the things that keep us apart? That was the question behind Shared Smiles. We live in a world where labels constantly define people: our race, nationality, culture, beliefs, political views, abilities, backgrounds, and identities. These differences are part of what makes humanity beautiful. But too often, they become reasons for division, distance, and disconnection. Shared Smiles was created to challenge that. Not by asking people to ignore their differences, but by reminding them of something that exists beneath all of them: Our shared humanity. And what better symbol for that than a smile? A genuine smile doesn't need translation. It doesn't belong to a particular race, culture, religion, or nationality. It's something we instinctively understand—an expression of kindness, warmth, joy, hope, and connection. That became the foundation of the visual identity. I translated the idea of shared humanity through a visual system built around people, individuality, connection, and the universal language of a smile. Different shapes. Different colours. Different identities. One shared expression. The result is an identity that doesn't try to erase our differences. Instead, it celebrates them while communicating a simple message: Beneath every label is simply another human being. I'm excited to finally share the full identity. It was one of those projects where the idea behind the brand was just as important to me as the design itself. Head over to Behance to see the full case study. Link in my bio. Every brand identity design project I handle begins with strategy first. In fact, my mandate has always been "strategy before aesthetics". I believe design shouldn't start with the software; it should start with understanding the brand and how to communicate its ideas effectively. So... Whether you are looking to build your brand from scratch and need a solid brand identity design that reflects the very essence of your brand, or you are looking to improve your brand, SEND A DM. Let's discuss it I don't just design. I am strategic with it. And that's what I'd bring to your brand. About a month and a half ago, I got commissioned to create social media designs for @spiriment_ . A Bible study app dedicated to helping you grow spiritually. But here’s the thing
The project didn’t start with me opening Figma and designing. It started with understanding the brand, figuring out the content strategy, developing the content, exploring moodboards, and establishing a clear visual direction. Only after all of that did I start designing for Spiriment. Every design you see in these slides is a result of those decisions coming together. So, take your time, swipe through the slides, and enjoy the work😁. And if you’re interested in exploring Spiriment for yourself, you can download the app on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and start your journey toward growing spiritually. . . . These days, it seems like everything is slow, and I am not moving. Self doubts, and long moments of silence But like every long journey, there is always a point when everything slows down, and it feels like nothing is moving. Those moments are times to take a deep breath, find your spark again, restrategize, and move on. The most important thing is to stick to the plan, but with a different strategy. Plan + strategy + consistency = Success. And that's the goal! Seems like I am in my poster era between...lol. My emotions turned into a poster again! . . . . .#sticktotheplan #keepgoing by @designsbyabiodun
My emotions turned into a poster. Design as a form of therapy. That's what I'd call it by @designsbyabiodun
Sometime last year, I had the privilege of working on the brand identity design for the Spiriment application, a Bible study app dedicated to helping you grow spiritually in His Word in a structured, intentional way. With the app already launched on Google PlayStore and Apple store, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my contributions to making that a reality. It's always a thing of joy to see your work as a designer used in real life. It just fills you with this enthusiasm to do more and create designs that actually solve a problem. That said... Spiriment is an application every Christian should have. It helps you study the Bible in a structured manner. With Spiriment, you are reminded not to skip a day in your spiritual growth. Head over to the Play Store or Apple Store to download the application now. I will also be sharing some social media designs I made for the brand very soon, so follow me for more😁 . . . . . Some logos tell you what a brand does at first glance, while some logos do not. A logo is ONLY an identity for your brand. It doesn't always have to include what you sell or the service you provide. Here's a logo exploration for a brand identity project I recently embarked on. The icon visually represents a tree and a house, forming a minimalist symbol that is easy to understand. Follow to see how this project unfolds. . . . . Are you looking to build a solid foundation for your business through brand identity designs? One year ago, I worked on a brand identity project for Vexa. Vexa is a fitness and gym brand born out of a passion to make fitness more accessible, modern, and community-focused. They want to create an empowering space where people, regardless of their level, feel welcome, supported, and motivated to push beyond boundaries, physically and mentally. It was actually my first-ever brand identity design case study project after I enrolled in the AVmazing BID class hosted by @ajalavictor.avs in May 2025. In the class, I learnt how to understand design briefs, the right questions to include in a questionnaire, a defined brand identity process to follow, how to come up with concepts, how to present my work properly, how to use mockups, and much more. I applied this knowledge to what I did for Vexa's brand identity project, and honestly, it changed how I see my work as a brand identity designer and how I approach it. Grateful for growth and every brand that has trusted me with their work. To see the full project on Behance, click on the link in my bio. . . . .
