Just me, a mirror, and my camera against the world!

Oh btw, you can shop anklets from Love DK soon! by @devanshi.khetani

I turned 26 this year.

And somewhere between being 21 and building Love, DK, I learnt a few things nobody really tells you.

Not because they’re secrets.

Mostly because you only understand them after you’ve lived through them.

These aren’t business lessons.

They’re life lessons that accidentally made me a better founder, creator, friend, and person.

Curious what yours would be.

A few things you might not know about me from looking at this page.

I’m still figuring out how to make room for work, people, myself, and all the things I thought I’d have sorted by now. Sharing that feels a little uncomfortable. But I want there to be room for this side of me here too.

The last slide is something I almost kept to myself. It’s what happened when I shared the thoughts I usually struggle to say on camera.

To everyone who saved those posts, sent them to someone, or recognised a little of themselves in my words, thank you. You’ve made me want to keep sharing 🤍

Which slide felt a little like your own life? I’d love to hear.

A little note from me: I loved making this collection. With all its hints of green, I’d honestly call it “Hara Bhara Kebab” if I could hahaha.

This one challenged me creatively in ways I really enjoyed, and I hope you love wearing these pieces as much as I loved bringing them to life.

Shonu taking his siesta by @devanshi.khetani

being a student in florence meant we had classes almost every day.

and on the few free days we had, there was just so much of the city to see.

but i was always drawn to the flea markets.

i brought hom big heavy art books, coasters and vinyls. but honestly, i think i went mostly to look at people.

i loved seeing how they dressed.

not in a “this is fashionable” way.
just in a way that felt so much like them.

it didn’t look like something taken from a magazine.
it looked like life. nothing felt trend-driven. people just had taste and personality.

and i don’t know, i feel like we’re losing a little bit of that now.

why are we all so quick to dress like whatever is trending?

i just want to see more people looking like themselves. by @devanshi.khetani

“The internet doesn’t need more content. It needs more people who lived something first and wrote about it second”

and we lived by it 🫶🏻
