📺 Movie night with my dad celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Transformers: The Movie 📼🎬❤️ Seeing it on the big screen was so emotional as it was followed by Peter Cullen’s final recording as Optimus Prime in a 12min short 🥺🫶🚛 #optimusprimeawakening

Thank you, Peter, for giving us a voice that will live on forever. Rest in peace 🕊️

Hi everyone, this semester I’ll be working on one final short film to close out my time at UC Berkeley as Writer & Director.

LINES is a proof of concept I care deeply about, but due to unexpected budget constraints, my production team and I are working hard to raise the remaining funds needed to make it possible.

Our goal is $2,500. Crowdfunding is now live and so far we have reached 10% of our fundraising goal! If you’re able to support, repost, or share, it would mean so much to my team and I.

Any donation helps: https://gofund.me/fdea829fe

Thank you,
Deziree Padilla ❤️

Excited to announce MNEMONIC 📼
A found-footage short film — COMING SOON!!!

And if you’re wondering how I got these shots… let’s just say I’m weird and like to explore and wander into places that are old, empty, and wide open during closing hours :P

Logline:

“Mnemonic” is an experimental film that pieces together echoes of once familiar places — now hauntingly devoid of life. Through a series of disconnected yet deeply evocative POV shots, the film invites viewers to draw from their own nostalgia, while the eerie stillness of these spaces transforms memory into something more fragmented, isolating, and just out of reach.
