He’s done with the “all Gujarati food is sweet” stereotype and he’s not holding back. 🍛

His take? People need to stop generalizing that every Gujju dish comes drowning in sugar. From spicy sev tameta nu shaak to tangy dhokla and fiery undhiyu, he makes the case that anyone who’s actually experienced authentic Gujarati cuisine knows the flavours run far deeper than just sweet. The “sweetness” label, he argues, is what happens when people judge an entire regional food culture off one or two dishes.

What’s your take on this? 👇

You should know your roots too well to never want to let it go! If you want to let it go, you don’t know it too well.

This is what we at Heritage walk curated by #Talkthatdamnpoint do too well✨ bringing stories and our strengths closer to you. Sadly everyone knows Ahmedabad is a #worldheritagecity but it only takes passionate people like @danceitout.k and all of you who join us every month to truly understand it and value it❤️

This time was even more special with Keny’s special narration for Kavi Akha Bhagat and time spent at “Vaarso” - a 350 year old haveli of the Vaishnao family of @raheelpatel_official - we can’t thank you enough for the wisdom and value you have provided to us and we wish to continue reflecting on it✨

If you have read it until here, tell me in the comments your favourite memory of #Amdavad and story behind it❤️

Filmed with love, brought to us by @fishi.films @rohitkalal54 💯✨
