Hi Diva, for this piece, I wanted to reimagine oriental heritage with a clean, understated elegance.  The tailored mandarin-collar blouse comes to life in a dusty rose tone, woven with fine geometric geometric/tenun-inspired motifs and anchored by ornamental Chinese frog closures down the front. I paired its structured line with a flowing nude drape skirt featuring a soft caramel cascading ruffle for subtle fluid motion. A touch of tradition, balanced for the modern aesthetic. by @dhievine
Hi Diva, every design begins with a spark.  For this piece, I wanted to honor the timeless elegance of heritage patternmaking while giving it a soft, modern silhouette. Drawing inspiration from Peranakan botanical motifs, the floral top features a tailored kebaya encim cut with a crisp high collar and vibrant red, orange, and blue blooms. I paired it with a draped nude wrap skirt featuring a cascading soft-gold ruffle to add fluid, asymmetric movement, completing the look with textured woven mules for effortless grace. Bringing these details from paper to life is always my favorite part of the journey, what do you think of this piece? by @dhievine
