Edouard Kopp, Chief Curator, Menil Drawing Institute, gave incredible insights into Jitish Kallat's site-specific wall drawing at today's NoontimeTalk.

This wall drawing, which will be up for the next year, grows out of Kallat's sustained engagement with Project A119, a partly declassified 1958 plan by the United States Air Force to detonate a nuclear bomb on the moon. (Cut to the present: The United States wants a reactor on the moon by 2030. A Russian-Chinese alliance is working on one for 2036.)

Wishing Dr. Kopp all the very best as he moves on to new adventures in the world! Thanks for your steadfastness, creativity, and strong commitment to the line!
