Cinematic reminders to feel alive

Do you remember times when we were simply uploading one photo at a time? no music and polished captions, no motivational voice behind? Simply sharing.. And sometimes playing with black & white effect for artistic feeling by @dhruva.dasi

“She is learning to walk right here, between the rows. Just like I did, just like my mother did. That’s home. People think life here is hard, but I don’t think so. We have everything we need right here. I know every inch of earth beneath my feet. The earth is generous, and we are rich because we live on it.“ The Hmong people, an indigenous group across Asia, have lived without an official homeland for centuries. Their history is passed down through oral-only stories - spoken from generation to generation and embroidered into intricate “story cloths.” #madewithlightroom #sonyalpha #great_captures_people #natgeoyourshots #natgeoyourlens #colorprowithme #colorproawards by @dhruva.dasi
“People say we must love the sea to do this work. The sea? We laugh. We spend more time in these nets than in the water! One net can stretch over 500 meters, and making it takes weeks. We do it faster. Our hands know the rhythm—we’ve done this for years. We love this job. It feeds families. And we never know for how long the sea will keep giving..” 🩵🐟🪼 #colorprowithme #colorproawards by @dhruva.dasi
«I’ve worked here for twelve years, drying fish under the open sky. The sun is both our friend and our enemy here,» she laughs, adjusting the two hats stacked on her head. «One protects me, the other protects the first one.» She eats her lunch sitting on the floor «I got used to everything—heat, smell that clings to your skin. The only thing I never get used to is how fast time flies. Now my daughter is almost my age when I started. I hope she chooses something easier. But if she doesn’t, I’ll teach her how to wear two hats too.» #madewithlightroom #sonyalpha #sony #natgeoyourshot #ig_respect #great_captures_people #sonyfemalephotographer by @dhruva.dasi

“When the world pushes you to your knees, you’re in the perfect condition to pray” Rumi Have you found the beauty in the hardship? Have you seen the sunshine following all darkness? Have you looked for treasures in the ruins of your life? Without the frown of clouds and lightning, the vines would be burned by the smiling sun 🍇🌞 #pvmondayemotions @photovogue by @dhruva.dasi

Imagine if the whole world smiled ☺️ by @dhruva.dasi
Some families chat about the news in the morning... mine watches me gesturing widely about the next trip before they've even heard about the one I came back from last night. They sip coffee patiently, smiling, knowing this is just how my mornings go. Honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way💔 by @dhruva.dasi
