For aslong as I can remember, I’ve been making content since before it had a name. Used to make content of anything and everything and as I got older my hobby’s changed but one thing stayed the same, it was never just for me - even when I didn’t realise it yet, I knew that there was purpose for it. All the times I was mocked, laughed at - talked about in silence yet I kept pushing out content because I loved it and it was healing ❤️‍🩹 in times I was going through the absolute worst and darkest times of my life. Someone once asked me “that’s not you anymore hey ?!” Like i was meant to be ashamed of my old content - even though it was more unhinged, free and ratchet. It was still me. I’m not afraid of judgment or doubt, I welcome it. Whatever seasons I’m going through I know that resilience follows me and one day my kids will look back on all of it and say “mum did all of this by the Grace of God”. From scratch, from doubt - from nothing. No matter what goes on in the background and life full smashing me in the face, My God is bigger and what a time it is to be alive. Kind reminder to you all that I appreciate you for being here, we may walk different paths but we’re all in the same storm and I’m cheering for you friend ❤️🙏🏼💯 TYJ ! #powerlifting #explore by @diamond_dstallyon

Psalms 23:4 always 🤞🫶🏼 by @diamond_dstallyon

First and foremost, Glory to God even though I had a moment that made me human and in my flesh. I’ve allowed myself to feel it, breathe it out and pray it out of my spirit because wooooh the devil is a liar. How quickly he can steal your joy 😩 But I walked out injury free, maybe crushed in spirit but the victory belongs to him 😭 5 months ago I was drowning mentally - my niece set us up for a training sesh and the rest was history. My prep was met with trials after trials. Rehabing a knee, groin injury and personal tingz.. list goes on.

To my Coach @coach_charles_cini I can’t thank you enough for not only taking me on as a client but making me into an athlete. For copping my endless complaining and sooking but showing up for me 110%. You have become family even though you’ve already been that. THANK YOU 🙌🏼😩❤️

“Hows the rebuild ? Or did you quit” …. I did quit .. quit making excuses, quit doubting and quit overthinking the whole process. I started with the small things - upping my steps because I’m lazy like that. Started walking or “jogging” after meals at home even if I finished work at 9pm & were at the busiest part of the year and my excuses were always “I’m too busy to train”. Shout out to my coach for letting me burrow the old lab gears from where I took my PL seriously and gave me no room to run @coach_charles_cini - my gym dad fr ❤️🙏🏼🥹 I tell you it’s hard to go from squatting over a 100kgs to going back to basics and making sure the 20,40 & 60s move smoothly and how it’s supposed to but hey ! We haven’t quit yet and I’m proud of that. Btw … UP THE TOAAAAA 🇼🇸❤️🤣🤣🤣🥲 (I got forced from my husband) 🤣 #powerlifting #womenwholift💪 #ᴇxᴘʟᴏʀᴇᴘᴀɢᴇ #explore #strenghttraining by @diamond_dstallyon

How It’s been sounding lately - brick by brick 🧱 IF YOU ARE ON YOUR JOURNEY !!!! Do not stop - I swear it’s the worst thing you could do. You can rest , slow it down but DO NOT STOP because it’ll be one hell of a fight to come back from. Trust me …. I’m currently there 😪 #rebuild #powerlifting #explore #womenwholift💪 #strenghttraining by @diamond_dstallyon

Geeze I feel like September came and went. Hi and bye 😩 September dump and we’re already almost in the middle of October what 🙀 life is looking different lately but in all things THANK YOU GOD ❤️ by @diamond_dstallyon

I don’t need anyone judging me - I do it so well myself.. smh 🤦🏽‍♀️ One thing he knows about me is that in everything I want to do, I will critique myself down to the T.. 3 injury’s in the year and still trying to make a way back to the platform. I’ve made the decision along with the support of my coach to drop out of the December comp so that I can heal fully, rebuild properly and actually give myself a chance to prolong my body as much as I can.
.
.
Sometimes we give ourselves timelines and then get disappointed when the plan doesn’t go our way. I know I have so much left in the tank and if I’m pulling more than my body weight at 33 years old .. there is absolutely more to build from there 🤞 no rush, stick to the plan - listen to your coach and body. Be grateful for what has already been achieved. I’ve had a big year already and I couldn’t be more proud and blessed to do it all. Went from RTS … to Rebuild #1 - hard pill to swallow but hey … atleast I’m not throwing in the towel we just have to keep moving ❤️✨🙏🏼 grateful still 🙌🏼 by @diamond_dstallyon

Hard and fast edit because my brains still loading and my sons nagging me for footage lol - what a day, still loading footage from the weekend off my camera but till then .. enjoy some footage from my iPhone 13 😭🤣 @vtsainc by @diamond_dstallyon

A dream for every rugby kid is to represent their country one day - for ours , that dream came true. Thank you @vtsainc for putting on an amazing night for our Tongan 🇹🇴 kids to be able to come together and celebrate each other. As a mother seeing her son proudly represent our heritage and villages - was a moment we will never forget.

Hard and fast edit because it’s been a minute and I haven’t edited or filmed in years lol - the new gadget had me fighting for my life trying to figure it out but nevertheless, it was a blessing to capture just a snippet of the joy my son and his cousins experienced at their jersey presentation 🇹🇴

BRING ON SATURDAY WIHIIIIII ❤️🐴 by @diamond_dstallyon

Learning to trust the process even when it looks like it may not work out. Leaning into understanding that the body will only take so much weight untill you have to slow things down and let it adapt to the changes. Deload week couldn’t have come any faster I tell ya 🙌🏼😮‍💨
.
Training focus was to reduce the weight, get full ROM and listen to my body’s cues. Paused reps felt grindy but so glad that I got a little weight on the bar to move and that was enough for me. Proud of what I can still produce despite the busyness of life I know the Lord has been my strength through it all. Another season of trusting the process. Even if things are moving slow … it’s still moving Mama, I’m fully content in where I am right now with my lifting journey. Giving myself grace because I can’t help having a hectic life - that’s my normal. I love, serve and life hard - in another life I probably would have all the time in the world to train but I’m choosing my peace and patience above all. You can not operate from an empty tank so idc what anyone says, we all have the same 24 hours in a day but we don’t all have the same life, circumstances, responsibilities and more. I’m not going to let no online reel gaslight me into being selfish 🙏🏼🙌🏼❤️
I’m proud to come from a big island family - I’m proud to be a Christian - I’m proud to be a Mother & Wife. The algorithm these days have some people far from reality of what everyday lives look like. Have us regulars feeling like we are so behind. I’m not afraid to not fit in to the typical powerlifter clique or mould. I’m strong 💪🏾 I’m Polynesian, I’m a women and I’m proud of that. Stand on what you believe in and what you are about so it can open doors for more pasefika people in this space. If you are ever doubting your ability in whatever it is you are pursuing, just remember WE were built for it. Take up the space ❤️ with love x
