POSTS STORIES REELS

Before I ever started a business, I learned how to sell at a high level without pressure.

I was the youngest person on the team selling a six-figure Executive MBA program.

Over a short period of time, I enrolled 120 leaders into that program — generating $12M in revenue.

But here’s what most people don’t realize:

That experience had nothing to do with scripts, funnels, or “closing tactics.”

What it taught me was far more foundational.

I learned how to:
→ Listen deeply before offering anything
→ Understand what someone actually needed, not what they said they wanted
→ Position value in a way that felt aligned, human, and grounded
→ Build trust before asking for a yes

Long before I became a coach, I learned how to sell through relationships, not pressure.
That experience shaped everything that came next.

When I eventually built my own business, I didn’t start from tactics.

I started from connection, clarity, and credibility.

Over the last 15 years, my work has evolved:
→ From career coaching to business coaching
→ From short-term support to long-term proximity
→ From volume to depth
→ From being “for many” to being very clear about who I’m meant to serve

And with every evolution, one belief has stayed constant:

Building a business that lasts requires trust, discernment, and emotional maturity — not hustle.

That’s why today, I work with people who are:
→ Ready to build something sustainable
→ Willing to slow down to grow smarter
→ More interested in longevity than quick wins

I’m sharing more of my journey this month as I celebrate 15 years in business — not because it’s perfect, but because it’s real.

And because I know there are people quietly wondering:
“Is there another way to build this?”
There is.

And it starts with how you listen, how you relate, and what standards you choose to hold.

One warm introduction led to my client selling a $10,000 VIP Day. 🎉

This happened a few months ago, and it's a perfect example of something I teach often: The power of TRUST TRANSFER.

When someone you know, like, and trust introduces you to someone they trust, some of that credibility transfers to you.

You're no longer starting from zero.
By the time my client got on the sales call, her prospective client wasn't questioning whether she could trust her.

She was already thinking about when to get started.

That's the power of a warm introduction.
But here's what many coaches and consultants overlook:

Having a great network isn't enough. You need to be REFERABLE.

People need to know:
→ Who you help and what problems you solve.
→ What results and transformations you deliver.
→ Why they should confidently recommend YOU.

You can have hundreds of connections who genuinely like you, but if they can't clearly articulate your value, opportunities get missed.

The goal isn't just to be well-connected.

It's to become the CLEAR CHOICE when the right opportunity comes along.

This is why I'm such a believer in building meaningful relationships, creating memorable experiences, and being intentional about how you're positioned in the market.

Because the best sales conversations often begin long before the sales call.

Want to become more referable and attract bigger opportunities?

Let's work on your positioning and relationship strategy in a Power Hour.

The people who love you most are often the worst at referring you.

They are not being lazy. They simply don't know what to say.

If you want warm referrals without chasing anyone, this is worth a read.

I used to think staying vague was the humble thing to do.

Keep it short. Don't make it about me. Let my work speak for itself.

But here is what I have seen over 15 years of building relationships.

When your answer is vague, you quietly hand your friends a job. They now have to guess what you do, who you help, and when to bring up your name.

Most people won't do that guessing. So they say nothing, and the opportunity goes to someone whose work was easier to describe.

Think about the last time you recommended someone. You could do it because you knew exactly who they helped and what they were great at.

Being specific is a gift to the people in your corner.

It gives them words to use when you are not in the room.

And it does not mean pitching. It can sound like sharing what you are excited about, a recent client story, or the kind of opportunity you would love more of.

Be curious about people. Then let them be curious about you.

You can be incredibly well connected and still be overlooked for opportunities.

Because knowing you isn't the same as knowing what to think of you for.

I see this all the time.

Someone asks:

“What do you do?”
And you answer:
“I'm a coach.”
“I'm a consultant.”
“I'm a speaker.”

Technically true.
Completely forgettable.

But I also don't believe the answer is memorizing the perfect elevator pitch.

Instead, give people things they can connect to and remember.

Professionally, tell them:

What are you excited about?
Who do you love helping?
What problems are you especially good at solving?
What opportunities do you want more of?
And personally?

Give them a few fishhooks.
A friend taught me this concept years ago.

My fishhooks?

I'm a self-care queen who loves spa days, massages and head spas.

I'm a huge foodie who's always finding restaurants.
I love traveling.
I love bringing amazing people together.
I'm a hype woman.

And fun fact: I used to be a math tutor.

None of those things is part of my official business bio.

But they give people something to grab onto.

And some have actually become part of how I build relationships and business.

I've talked business at spas.
Hosted strategy + self-care days.
Built relationships over incredible meals.
Turned travel into retreats and shared experiences.

Because:

Your professional expertise helps people understand you.
Your personal interests help people connect with you.
You need both.

The personal creates connection.
The professional creates relevance.
The relationship creates trust.

I wrote about this in Part 3 of my relationship series:

How to Talk About Yourself Without Turning the Conversation Into a Pitch.

@kellyroachofficial absolutely CRUSHED her keynote on The Miracle Hour! 🔥👏

Such a powerful reminder that predictable sales don’t come from doing MORE, but from consistently doing what matters most!

Beyond being a stellar speaker and brilliant businesswoman, what I admire most about Kelly is her generosity, authenticity, and heart.

And talk about a FULL CIRCLE moment!

Last year, I was cheering her on from the audience. This year, we shared the SAME stage at @selena_soo’s Rich Relationships Mastery in Austin, and I got to be part of her hype crew!

Even more special? Spending five days together, sharing laughter, meaningful conversations, and deepening our friendship.

The greatest opportunities aren’t just about the stages we share, but the relationships we build along the way.

And the full-circle moments continue! 🎙️

I’m SO excited to join Kelly on her podcast tomorrow to talk about how to become the Clear Choice and unlock bigger corporate opportunities!

So grateful for you, Kelly! Here’s to more shared stages, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable memories!

What if the last two months of 2026 surprise you in the BEST possible way?

It’s November 1st. Just two months left in the year.

And SO much is still possible.

One conversation could open an unexpected door.

One connection could lead to a life-changing opportunity.

One bold decision could change the direction of your business, career, or life.

Sometimes, the biggest breakthroughs are the ones we never saw coming.

And sometimes, what unfolds is even BETTER than what we originally planned.

So instead of counting down the days until the year ends, what if we focused on making the most of what’s still possible?

Stay curious.
Stay open.
Take intentional action.
And leave room for life to surprise you.

Because the best part of your 2026 story might still be unwritten.

Here’s to finishing the year with possibility, purpose, and a little unexpected magic.

What would you LOVE to see happen before 2026 ends?

What’s scarier than losing a BIG opportunity?

Never knowing you were even considered. 💀

Ouch. Now THAT’S a business horror story. 😱

You could be incredibly talented and STILL be overlooked.

Not because you’re not good enough.

But because you’re not visible, memorable, or positioned as the CLEAR CHOICE.

🎃 I’ve uncovered 7 SPOOKY mistakes that could be scaring away your biggest opportunities.

The scary part? You might be guilty of a few.

Which one hit a little too close to home?

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻

What if people LOVE you… but don’t know what to HIRE you for?

Last week in Austin, my friend @marcaarons876 asked me a powerful question:

“What do you want to be known for?”

Funny enough, most people know me as the super connector, hype cheerleader, and self-care queen! 😂

During my 7-minute talk at @selena_soo’s Rich Relationships Mastery on nurturing relationships to unlock bigger opportunities, I shared exactly that.

Then I said…

“But that’s NOT what I get PAID to do!”

The room burst into laughter! 😂

But when I shared what I ACTUALLY do, people started paying attention.

I help established entrepreneurs and experts elevate their perceived value, command premium pricing, and WIN BIGGER DEALS.

Aka helping you make a lot more than you thought possible.💰

After my talk, people approached me, curious about how I could help their businesses.

And here’s another funny moment…

After the event, my friend @delanocovarrubias introduced me to someone as a “Corporate Deal Strategist.”

I thought, now THAT’S an interesting title! 😂

Suddenly, what I do became so much easier to understand.

Sometimes someone else can articulate your value more clearly than you can yourself!

It reminded me:

Being well-liked doesn’t automatically make you the CLEAR CHOICE.

People can love you, trust you, and admire you.

But if they don’t understand the VALUE you deliver, they won’t know when to hire or refer you.

✨ Your personality makes you MEMORABLE.

✨ Your positioning makes you REFERABLE.

✨ Your value helps make you the CLEAR CHOICE.

Here’s a question worth reflecting on:

Are you known for WHO you are… or WHAT you want to be hired for?

Ideally, BOTH! ❤️

Because being memorable is great.

But being memorable AND the CLEAR CHOICE?

That’s where bigger opportunities begin.

The sale often happens BEFORE the sales conversation.

Research shows buyers interact with brands multiple times before making a purchase.

📊 B2C: 8.3 touchpoints on average (Adobe)
📊 B2B: 16 interactions per buyer with their chosen vendor (6sense, 2025)

Think about it.

Before someone reaches out, they may have:

→ Read your LinkedIn posts.
→ Seen you speak at an event.
→ Heard your name from someone they trust.
→ Read your client success stories.
→ Attended your masterclass.

Every touchpoint builds familiarity, credibility, and trust.

This is exactly why I'm such a big believer in hosting LIVE experiences.
Whether it's a workshop, mastermind, retreat, or intimate gathering, people get to experience how you think, communicate, and connect.

Trust can deepen much faster when people experience you firsthand.

And when they're ready to invest?

You want to be the Clear Choice.

So don't just focus on generating more leads.

Create meaningful experiences and nurture relationships that make you Remembered, Recommended & Rewarded.

What do 10 successful entrepreneurs have in common?

They were all sitting on bigger opportunities than they realized.

Some were working too hard for too little.
Some had hit a revenue plateau.

Others were questioning their value, pricing, or business model.

But here's what they had in common:

They didn't need to become better at what they do.

They needed to recognize the value they already brought to the market — and position themselves to be rewarded for it.

That's where our work together made the difference.

We focused on:
→ Positioning: Becoming the Clear Choice for the right clients.
→ Packaging: Turning expertise into compelling, high-value offers.
→ Pricing: Charging based on value, not just time.
→ Opportunities: Identifying bigger clients, contracts, and revenue potential.
→ Strategy: Making smarter business decisions with greater clarity and confidence.

Sometimes, the biggest breakthrough comes from having someone see what you can't see yourself.

You may be closer to your next level than you think.
