Beyond grateful 🥲🙏 Hubby @didiarifin finally managed to finish the most anomalous and epic journey of his 10th Ironman. 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ What was supposed to be a race journey turned into an unforgettable adventure: 🌋 Krakatoa suddenly erupted ✈️ Jakarta airport was closed ❌ Our flight was suspended 🚗 Immediately drove to Bali — crossing Java by road ⛴️ Crossed by ferry from Ketapang Harbour to Gilimanuk 🏨 Spent one night in Bali ✈️ The next day, flew to Singapore, then Tokyo ❄️ Finally arrived in Hakodate, the race venue, on the 3rd day So many obstacles, uncertainties, and moments when we wondered, “Will we make it?” But he did. 🙏 10th Ironman — not just another finish line, but a journey of resilience, determination, and never giving up. Proud beyond words. ❤️ Congratulations, Hubby! 🥹👏 What an epic journey. What a story. What a finish.
