9 PM // setting the tone of the evening, bringing the pulse of Kinshasa back to Remix Oslo.

KINACT (DRC Congo)
In the DRC Congo, the KinAct Collective transforms scrap – in which Western countries recklessly dump in the country – into art: Extension cords, empty Coca Cola cans, beaten up radios, worn out sandals, and cigarette waste are among the ingredients. The artists transform the rubbish into fantastic costumes, in which they perform in on the streets.

@digitaldiaspora.rec and @dep.artment brings this incredible artform to Remix Oslo for the third year in a row. This time around, with the fresh Nyege Nyege Tapes album "Kinshasa in Action" in the bag.

Seven more acts added to the line-up of Remix Oslo! Well, come, next week – 17th to 20th of June.

Remix Oslo brings together forces from East Africa, Central Africa, Brazil and Europe in an effort to put Oslo on the international club music map. The main goal of Remix Oslo is to make some space for cultural exchange in Norway – remixing Oslo if you will.

Our collaborator through many years, Nyege Nyege, is the main model for the festival, and not the least a major source of inspiration. Now we see the need to develop a new identity for the festival – one based on multicultural Oslo. Remix Oslo is putting a perspective on how Oslo belongs to the whole world.

In addition to @nyegenyegefest, the organizer Digital Diaspora, also collaborate with other related festivals in Africa, such as @kilelesummit in Kenya and @kinact_festival in DRC Congo – as well as @oslomela in Norway. As a consequence, Remix Oslo 2026 is something in between all of these festivals.

Enter Suzi Analogue.

Born in Baltimore, raised in Virginia, living her life in Miami – Suzi Analogue is a travelling soul connecting the dots between America, Africa and Europe. Suzi’s genre-blending is near impossible to pinpoint, like a kaleidoscope of sound. Her background in hip hop culture and the East Coast club music scene shines bright in her futuristic soul music.

Suzi Analogue is the founder of @nevernormalrecords and has over a decade of experience at the intersection of music, technology and education.

DOORS 20:00 ☆ RECYCLED CLOTHES AND MERCH POP-UP (tbc)

CATASHI ♡ { 21:00-22:00 } is the meeting point between the sonic universe of Catu Diosis and the poetic world of Miziguruka.

The duo creates immersive performances where music, spoken word, voice, and ritual presence intertwine to build landscapes that are at once intimate and explosive. Their work moves freely across genres, refusing borders and embracing contradiction. Afrocentric rhythms collide with underground global bass, metal textures converse with indie sensibilities, while electronic experimentation serves as a bridge between ancestral memory and speculative futures.

CATU is a sound designer, music producer, and vocalist whose compositions blend organic and electronic elements into rich, unpredictable soundscapes. MIZIGURUKA brings lead vocals, poetry, and performance, transforming each stage into a space of storytelling, embodiment, and collective imagination.

Together, CATASHI explores themes of identity, resilience, transformation, memory, and freedom. Their performances shift between moments of tenderness and intensity, creating journeys that invite audiences to dance, reflect, question, and feelIngs. by @digitaldiaspora.rec

VINNAU (BRA) 23:00-00:30

Vinnau is a Brazilian DJ with both feet planted deep in the explosive club energy of baile funk. The genre, pulsing and instantly catchy, makes a fresh return to Oslo’s dancefloors.

With rhythms built for bodies, sweat and instant response, he brings a sound that is complex, direct and irresistibly danceable.
Raw, rhythmic and full of movement, Vinnau brings Brazilian funk to Remix Oslo, for his second explosive set. 💥💥

ANTI VAIRAS & JAY MITTA (TZ) 00:30-03:00

Anti Vairas arrives like a comet straight from Dar es Salaam’s pulsing underground scene, with a voice that cuts through the sound barrier.
As an MC in Tanzania’s high-octane singeli universe, she raps over beats that range from 160 to 250 BPM. Still, she sounds ice-cold and precise. Fast, raw and fearless, she weaves bars through the chaos with an energy that feels both futuristic and completely grounded.

On stage in Oslo, she is joined by JAY MITTA, one of the key producers behind Sisso Studios and a central figure in singeli’s explosive journey from Dar es Salaam to the world.
With a sound that combines Tanzania’s hyper-fast singeli rhythms with the weight and attitude of hip-hop, he has become one of the most in-demand producers in the scene. His music is intense, frenetic and packed with raw energy.
