Reinvention Forward: Purpose. Power. Impact. That was the theme for this year’s #AAHAERG26 Leadership Summit. We had an awesome day in the office filled with connection and reflection on what reinvention means as we continue building valuable solutions for our clients. This past Friday, I had the chance to attend workshops to refine my prompting skills and learn from senior leaders on a range of topics—such as leadership, reinvention, and sponsorship vs. mentorship (and why both are critical to your life and career journeys). This was my 4th year planning the summit, and while it’s quite a challenge getting it done on top of client work and life, it makes it easier having a dedicated team locally and throughout One @Accenture that is empowered to make it a wonderful experience for all to enjoy! My biggest takeaway from the day and the keynote speakers is to get VERY clear on your purpose. Ask yourself, “What do you value? What values will follow you throughout your life and career?” For me, my health is always a priority, but what I feel I lost sight of in recent years is the joy I find in friendship and personal connections. I’m proud of myself for taking time to make better connections at work within my team and outside of work. Never in a million years did I think I’d be regularly attending group fitness classes, joining a run club, and making adult friendships in my 30s with people who value wellness as much as I aim to… Here’s to having the courage to keep going, putting myself out there, and leading myself to a healthier future for me and my community! Adelante !! - Dina #accenturemoments #latinasintech #indigenousinstem #bipocinstem by @digitaldinta
Wish I learned more about personal brand in high school! The global digital marketing major in me is proud of me for passing on this knowledge to participants in the @myvsuw Pathways for Economic Opportunity program for the second year in a row! @accenture thank you for the opportunity to serve our communities where we live and work! #accenturemoments #unitedway #vsuw #digitalmarketing #personalbrand by @digitaldinta
Yesterday we celebrated International Women’s Day in the @accentureus Scottsdale office. I was happy to lead the Icebreaker that was on the theme of “Reinventing the Future.” I shared with colleagues my passion for mental health and the power of positive self-affirmations. Each person left with an affirmation card— a declarative statement made up of a strength and a goal that they can focus on over the next 5 years that they will use as they embrace reinvention! This was the affirmation I made, “I am a lifelong learner who embraces new research and AI tools to scale at speed.” While generative AI can’t replace the human spirit, I am inspired to use my creativity to keep learning and improving. I really loved @mielcafe.az — the coffee cart that the Women’s ERG hosted for us. This latina-owned business is local to Laveen & Phoenix, AZ☀️☕️ I’ll def be visiting them in the future! Check them out! Happy learning! Let’s find joy in being beginners again. :-) ALSO, this was not re-written with AI. I love to write! Ask me about my poetry chapbook. #internationalwomensday #accenturemoments #bipocinstem #womeninproduct #postiveaffirmations by @digitaldinta
I don’t know much about football but I know how to plan a party 🥳 when I was thinking of what could’ve made my life easier throughout that last month, I had three ideas: 1. budgeting/automated investing app (i’m so tired of manual spreadsheets and want to also teach my friends/myself how to better invest our disposable income) 2. social/friend exec brief (tired of checking across all my socials to see what friends and creators are buzzing about online) 3. super bowl party planning - while i’ve had a ton of fun planning my super bowl party, work hours can be late and i feel like there’s not enough time on the weekend to ensure i got all my planning done! SO, I made a super bowl party planning app powered by @google AI studio! It was fun learning how to use the studio, build features and enhance my prompting skills. The multi-modal capabilities are really state of the art! Users can really go from uploading a picture of their fridge to getting recipe ideas from what they already have OR @googlegemini could generate menu ideas based on guest allergies and preferences. That’s not all - I was impressed how easy it was to integrate Youtube recipe tutorials and list ingredients/supply links @amazon or @krogerco. I’m sure there’s much more I can prompt and #vibecode, but for now, I was able to deploy an app in less than ~10 hours that y’all can use to plan you super bowl party next weekend. In 2022, I wouldn’t have been able to make this without probably a few years of coding experience under my belt. This is just the beginning of where #agenticai is going. Takeaways: - Your personal creativity is still the most powerful element in all of this… - Shit in, shit out - Ask for user feedback early Presented this at our AI build-a-thon at work, and in case you’re wondering how I did, I got second out of 13 teams at work for the NA design/digital products practice. 🥳 app is LINKED IN BIO ! lmk how you like it🏈 #latinasintech #benitobowl #womeninproduct by @digitaldinta
