You’re probably wondering if there’s actually a real person behind this account.

There is. It’s me 🤍

I’m Sakila. I’m 32. I was born in Montréal, grew up in NYC, and now I live in Toronto. I’m a teacher at heart, an animal lover, and someone who genuinely loves helping people learn, grow, and feel more confident in themselves.

I’m also someone who didn’t want a camera in her face all day.
I didn’t want to perform online.
I didn’t want to feel watched, judged, or compared.

But I did want more freedom. More space. More time to breathe.
And I wanted to build something that felt aligned with who I actually am.

So I started learning digital marketing quietly, behind the scenes. I tested things. I failed a little. I learned a lot. And slowly, I realized… you don’t need to be loud, flashy, or constantly visible to build something meaningful online.

That’s why this page exists.

Not to show off.
Not to “sell a lifestyle.”
But to document what’s possible when you build in a way that feels safe, intentional, and sustainable — especially if you’re someone who’s more private, more thoughtful, or just tired of always being “on.”

For a long time, I was overworked, underpaid, and constantly giving my energy away. I loved my students, but I didn’t love how little space I had left for myself.

This page is me choosing something different.
Not in a dramatic way.
Just in a quiet, honest, steady way.

So if you’re here because a part of you is curious…
Or tired…
Or ready for something to shift…

You’re in the right place 🤍

I’m really glad you found me.

You owe it to yourself to see how good it can get.

Not the version of good that someone else decided for you. Not the life that looks fine from the outside but feels heavy on the inside.

The version where you wake up without dread. Where your time actually belongs to you. Where you stop shrinking yourself to fit inside someone else’s schedule.

I spent years being really good at a life that didn’t quite feel like mine. Giving everything I had to a system that was never designed to give it back.

And then I decided I deserved more than fine.

More than surviving the week to enjoy the weekend. More than counting down to days off I had to earn. More than a salary someone else decided before I even walked through the door.

I learned new skills. I built something of my own. And slowly then all at once everything shifted.

You owe it to yourself to at least find out what’s possible.

This summer I was in Vegas on the 45th floor of the Palazzo watching the Sphere from my window.

I rode a gondola inside the Venetian. I spent days by the pool. I flew to New York. I celebrated my birthday. I showed up for every family moment without once checking if I had enough days left.

And I’m telling you this not to flex but because two summers ago this was not my life.

Two summers ago I was calculating. Stretching. Worrying about whether the summer months would be okay financially. Watching other people post their trips and telling myself that was just for certain people.
I was wrong.

The people living like this are not luckier than you. They are not more talented or more experienced or more deserving. They just learned something that most people were never taught.
That your phone is not just a device for consuming other people’s lives. It is a tool for building your own income. That content you are already creating — your summer, your moments, your everyday life — has real value online when you know how to position it.

Digital marketing taught me how to turn my lifestyle into a business. Done for you products gave me something to sell from day one. Consistency built a system that works whether I am home or poolside or on a plane.

Same summer as everyone else. Completely different financial reality behind it.

It’s also my birthday week 🎂 and I’m celebrating by offering something special. Anyone who joins DWA through me this week gets 2 full weeks of personal one on one DM mentorship from me directly. Every step. Every question. Every moment you feel stuck — I’m there.
DM me the word BIRTHDAY to get started. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

When someone comments “where is this” or “what hotel is that” or “omg what are you doing” on your post — that is not just a nice interaction.

That is someone raising their hand and saying I am interested in your life and I want to know more.

That is the foundation of every single successful digital marketing business. An audience that is curious about you, engaged with your content, and coming back for more.
Most people collect those comments and move on. The people making money online learned how to turn that curiosity into a community and that community into income.

You do not need to be an influencer. You do not need thousands of followers. You need to understand how to position your content so the right people find you and how to convert their interest into something that pays you.
That is exactly what digital marketing teaches you. And it starts with what you are already naturally doing — living your life and sharing it.

The pool day you posted last week. The restaurant you tagged. The sunset you filmed because it just looked too good not to. All of it is content. All of it has value. You just need the skill set to activate it.

DWA teaches you that skill set from scratch. Content creation, sales psychology, audience building, digital products you can sell immediately.

Same life. Same phone. Same summer. Different outcome.
Comment MONETIZE and I’ll show you exactly where to start. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

Let me break down exactly how this works because I think people assume making money online means being glued to your phone 24/7.

It doesn’t.

A reel gets posted. The algorithm pushes it to someone who needed to see it. They visit my page. They go through my highlights which answer every question they could possibly have — what this is, how it works, what’s included, how much it costs, payment options, real results from real people.

By the time they DM me they already know they want in. The conversation is just the final step.

I don’t have to be sitting at my desk for any of that to happen. I don’t have to be online. I don’t have to be available in real time.
The content does the attracting. The highlights do the educating. The DMs do the closing.

That is a system. And a system works whether you are working or not.

This is not about being lazy. It took real work to build this. Learning the skills, understanding sales psychology, creating content that actually speaks to the right person, setting up highlights that answer objections before they’re even asked.
But you build it once and then it runs.

And that is the fundamental difference between trading time for money and building something that works for you.
DWA teaches you exactly how to build this from scratch. The content strategy, the sales skills, the systems. All of it step by step.

Comment SYSTEM and I’ll send you everything you need to know about where to start. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

I almost talked myself out of the best decision I ever made.

The price felt like too much. The learning curve felt too steep. I kept telling myself I didn’t have the right background, the right following, the right anything.

I had every excuse and not a single one of them was actually true.

Since starting DWA I have traveled more than I ever have. I have shown up for every family event, every celebration, every moment that mattered without work being the reason I couldn’t go.

I built an income stream that doesn’t pause when I do. A skill set that works whether I’m in Toronto, New York, Bangladesh or Thailand. A system that runs while I’m living my actual life.

I’m not telling you it’s easy. I’m telling you it’s worth it.

And I’m telling you that the version of you that’s sitting on this decision right now is the only thing standing in the way.

DWA teaches you content creation, sales, AI tools, email marketing and done for you products you can start selling immediately. Payment plans are available so the price is never the reason.

DM me and let’s talk about what this could look like for your life. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

We were sold a story.

Work hard. Show up early. Stay late. Give everything you have. And the money will follow.

But nobody mentioned the part where your employer already decided the most you would ever make before you even had your first day. Nobody explained that no matter how good you get, how many extra responsibilities you take on, how many years you give — there is a number they will never pay you past.

That is not a reflection of your worth. That is just how the system works.

And I’m not saying this to make you angry at your job. I’m saying it because I wish someone had said it to me sooner. Because the moment I understood this I stopped waiting for a raise that was never going to change my life and started building something that could.

Digital marketing has no salary band. No performance review standing between you and what you can earn. No boardroom decision about your potential.

Your income in digital marketing is decided by your consistency, your skills, and how well you show up. Someone with 300 followers made $2,100 in a single day. Someone made $72,000 in five months. Another made $250,000 in her first year starting from zero.
Not because they were lucky. Because they stopped waiting for someone else to decide their worth.

DWA teaches you the skills to build income that reflects what you actually put in. No ceiling. No cap. No one else making that call but you.

Comment PAYCHECK if this just hit different. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

Nobody sat us down and explained this and I think about that a lot.

We were taught to get good grades, get a good job, work hard, and be grateful for a steady paycheque. And for a long time that felt like the only path that made sense.

But here’s what that path actually looks like up close. You trade your time for money. The money stops the second you stop showing up. Someone else decides how much your time is worth. And no matter how hard you work there is a ceiling on what you can earn because your income is tied to hours and hours are finite.

A skill works completely differently.
A skill compounds over time. The better you get the more it pays you. It doesn’t clock out. It doesn’t call in sick. It doesn’t need a performance review to give you a raise. It travels with you wherever you go and it works whether you are actively using it or not.

Digital marketing is one of those skills. Sales is one of those skills. Content creation is one of those skills. AI is one of those skills.

These are not trendy buzzwords. They are the skills the modern economy actually rewards. And the people who are learning them now while most people are still trading time for money are building something that no employer can take away from them.

DWA teaches you all of it. From scratch. Step by step. With done for you products you can start selling while you learn.

Comment SKILL if this hit different for you. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

Let me break this down as simply as possible because I think a lot of people are sleeping on this.

A digital product is any piece of content that exists online and can be downloaded or accessed after purchase. An eBook. A template. A course. A guide. A toolkit. A preset. A swipe file.

You create it once. Or in the case of done for you products — someone creates it for you. And then you sell it. Over and over again. To one person, then ten, then a hundred. The product doesn’t change. You don’t have to restock it. You don’t have to ship it. You don’t have to remake it.

Every single sale is pure profit after your initial investment.

This is fundamentally different from every traditional way of making money most of us were taught. Trading time for money has a ceiling because you only have so many hours. Digital products don’t. You can make one sale or a hundred sales on the same Tuesday and the product delivers itself every single time.

The global digital products market is growing by billions of dollars every year. People are building entire incomes around a single eBook, a Canva template pack, or a beginner’s guide to something they already know.

You don’t need a huge following. You don’t need to be a tech expert. You need a product, a strategy, and the skills to market it — all of which DWA teaches you from scratch.

This is the income model of right now. And the people who understand it early are the ones who will look back in two years and feel so grateful they paid attention.

Comment DIGITAL below if this just clicked for you. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

If you just read that and felt seen — this is for you.

Because that exact spiral is where I was not too long ago. Wanting more but not trusting it. Watching other people live freely and telling myself it was probably fake. Coming up with every reason why it wouldn’t work for someone like me.

Until I ran out of excuses and just started.

Making money online is not a scam. It is a skill. And like any skill it can be learned by anyone willing to show up and put in the work.

People are building real income streams from their phones right now. Teachers. Stay at home moms. Office workers. Bartenders. People with no marketing background, no huge following, no special advantage. Just the decision to start before they felt completely ready.

Done for you digital products mean you don’t have to build anything from scratch. The course teaches you everything step by step. And your investment comes back after your very first sale.

The only thing separating you from the people you keep watching is that they stopped scrolling and started building.

Comment FREEDOM below and I’ll send you everything you need to know about where I started. 🤍 by @digitalgrowthteacher

Monday afternoon. Gym mat. Nowhere I have to be.

This is not luck. This is not a fluke. This is what building a digital income stream actually looks like in real life.

People inside the DWA community are making money while they work out, while they travel, while they sleep. A woman with under 300 followers made $2,100 in a single day. Someone made $72,000 in five months with 2,700 followers. Another made $250,000 in her first year starting from zero.

None of them had a special background. None of them had a huge platform or years of marketing experience. They learned the right skills, built a foundation, and let the system run.

Digital income is uncapped. There is no salary band, no boss deciding your worth, no ceiling on what consistency can build. The more you show up the more it works for you.

But it starts with a foundation. You have to build it before you can live on top of it.

If you’ve been watching and wondering whether this is real — Monday afternoon on a gym mat is as real as it gets.
