I don’t usually post things like this, but this has been on my mind lately, especially as someone who loves music and also learning the art of music curation. I was out recently on my favorite dance floor again after a long time. And have to say this……There is something called DJ-crowd relationship, The crowd isn’t just the recipient of the music alone; the crowd is part of the performance. More times the crowd has to give ↔️ before the DJ can give more. If you was there, notice how people often approach a DJ as though the DJ’s responsibility is simply “entertain me. Make me dance. Give me something good 👀 But that’s only half of the relationship! There’s also…..Am going to meet you half way. I’m going to listen. I’m going to move. I’m going to give you something to work with. SELECTAS don’t operate in isolation. It breaks the heart to see fellow DJs show up but don’t get on the dance floor. Everyone can do better by @dikehim
January 20th 2025 Saturn returned to pieces! here is the carousel you’ve been waiting for! Rocking @bluprnt.fashion cuz having the blueprint on you makes the job easier Stepped into @vibratespace June 2025 cause I was curious to learn and contribute to the ideas shaping the ecosystems i’ve experienced since moving to Ghana in 2019. 2025 @vibratespace learning and supporting the inspiring works of @surfghana in Hospitality & helping with Events Coordination, Social Media, and Community Management, handling communication, event operation, and community growth initiatives with the team. We conducted comprehensive audits, introduced tools and workflows to ease operations, helped increase audience growth by 25% and secured 150 new memberships. Helped improve event operations into a scalable package based model with standardized pricing and single invoice billing. We upgraded the instrument learning program, identified a new facilitator @sdornyoh to improve delivery and long-term sustainability of the program. This remains one highlight of best performed content produced and published during by me. In this photo two very talented individuals @theemamle and @franklynselom Sometimes what is missing is a conversation about possibility and strategy, while many may be responding from risk management and precedent. Being allowed to coordinate the revamp of @vibratespace monthly playlist was one major graphic design problem we solve while working with the team. This new direction works cause compared to the old one you don’t struggle to see the art cover. Wrote this article. Follow the link on the photo. It’s true that an idea should be evaluated according to what it could become, not only according to what has happened before. A new idea can create a new audience, new relationships, new partners, and eventually new economic possibilities. To end my time at @vibratespace eye invited guys from the community to listen to my first live DJ set. Shout out to everyone including … @rooky_rider @davina.sed @kade.tempo @charlotteaurelia_ @astoldbynaashidaa @in.other.whrds and all the open minded souls who passed by. Get on with it https://www.soundcloud.com/yenkor My b by @dikehim
Can we really know what it feels like to be a bat? Link in bio. by @dikehim
In the 11 months I’ve spent at @surfghana working across Hospitality & Events Coordination and Communications & Community Management for @vibratespace, I’ve experienced firsthand what it means to be part of an ecosystem that creates room for many people to grow. In an era where everyone wants ownership, visibility, and independence, I wanted to reflect on the quieter side of ecosystem building. This article is both a reflection and a question about the future we are building together. Send a DM to read the full thing. by @dikehim
Cont: @nwadikeafrica first prototype. Made with my brother @geraldsco_ Everything was bought from Nigeria. Not sure if the materials are made in Nigeria. But the shoe was made in Lagos, Nigeria and Am love how the idea turned out for now. 🤩 by @dikehim
Blessed beyond words. Happy fathers day DAD 🕊️ #greatful by @dikehim
Cont: i just made this beautiful logo for NWADIKE project. Am going to call it Ele ( the antelope ) growing up my dad was the Eleagwa II of our kingdom. Feels so special that I can have him in the foundation of this project. Ele is a powerful totem symbolizing grace, agility, and spiritual insight. It carries forward a lineage of dignity, strength, and adaptability into this project. - #greatful by @dikehim
