This is a little kamancheh improvisation over “Poem of the Atoms,” a piece my dear friend @mhprojectmusic created years ago. I’ve always been drawn to electronic music and the worlds of sound it opens up, so this felt like the perfect excuse to experiment a little. 🎧✨️

This is Dina Doosti.

Iranian kamancheh player 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗗𝗼𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶 brings the sound of the kamancheh into a contemporary setting through improvisation, looping, and personal approaches to texture and repetition.

Her performance moves between the instrument’s acoustic character and layered, evolving sound — creating a space where tradition and experimentation can meet without being fixed to one genre.
