Any mug is a travel mug if you have enough confidence and no self preservation.

1.2 km. Four obstacles.

Zero spills. Still warm

Still don't know why I own a travel mug. by @dinner.solved

Meet Jayde from Dial A Dinner 👋
@dial_a_dinnerkw

We sat down with her to ask the real questions: the corner she won't cut, who she's cooking for, and the hardest part of the job.

Then she gave us the tour.

Extremely clean kitchen. Freezer stocked.

Great people. Great food. 🍂

Dial A Dinner is now on DinnerSolved. Family-sized weeknight meals from local kitchens, ready for pickup.

Ten years. We went west.

Mountains, a lot of driving, and the first week in a long time where nobody asked me what was for dinner.

Back home, our friend had the girls. Three kids, two dogs, and a week of weeknights to get through. The last thing she needed was to figure out dinner on top of all of it, or spend the week in a drive-thru line.

So we had meals waiting for her. She grabbed them on her way, served them, everyone ate. That was the whole handover.
That's what we built it for. Not just for us. For whoever's holding down dinner when you can't.

Thanks for taking such good care of them. 🧡

How DinnerSolved works, in four steps.

The menu drops Thursday. You order the nights you want and pick a 15-minute pickup window. Ordering closes the night before, so your kitchen cooks exactly what's been sold. Then you grab it on the way home and eat.

Family-sized, feeds four, made that day by a local KW kitchen.

You asked for more variety and we listened. New kitchens are joining soon, with more cuisines and more nights to choose from. Follow along so you don't miss the drop.

No subscription. No delivery fees. No 5pm panic.

Founder Story: This is our crew. Two working parents, a busy house, and one very large dog who thinks every dinner is for him.

I'm the cook in our house. I meal prep every week, but by midweek the prep is getting stale and I'm done with the kitchen. Takeout for the whole family is expensive, lukewarm, and not what anyone wants on a Tuesday.

I wanted a real family-sized dinner, made by a local kitchen, ready when I pull up. That didn't exist in KW, so I built it.

Before this, I spent 19 years in telecom, starting as a Bell tech climbing poles (telephone poles, before anyone asks) and working up to running operations at a local internet provider. Different industry, same job: make it work reliably for real people.

DinnerSolved is live. Local kitchens, family-sized weeknight dinners, pickup on your way home.
