🇸🇪SWEDISH SHOWSTOPPER 🎩

Dion didn’t set out to become a Volvo guy. With a garage already stacked with heavy hitters—Pulsar GTIR, R32 GTR, Celica ST204—he was deep in the world of roll racing and time attack. But fate had other plans. After seeing a mate’s 240s in the wild, the boxy Swede piqued his curiosity. Then came the unicorn: a white 1983 Volvo 244, already RB25DET-swapped and begging for a second life. He didn’t hesitate.

Fast-forward, and Dion’s build is far from your average dad-spec Volvo. It sits slammed on full coilovers with bump steer correction. The exterior? A catalogue of custom: shaved badges, bumper mods, sculpted rear guards from Plus389, a flathood bonnet, and USDM lights and grille. Oh—and a rear wing, side skirts, pods, and rare sunvisor bits that scream vintage VIP.

The wheels? Proper flex. Genuine WEDS Professor Mesh, custom-built to 17x8.5 and 17x9.5, both at -21 offset. Dish nearly matches front to rear—because Dion’s obsessive like that.

The vibe is clear: show car elegance with a street-built soul. Future plans include a full red wine interior, starlight roof, chandelier (yes, really), and a classically styled engine bay that’s waiting for... whatever powerplant he lands on. Could be a V12. Could be a rotary. Dion’s not about limits.

One of the best origin stories? Getting stuck on a Robina ramp, subframe kissing concrete. That moment birthed the perfect plate: “SOZ.”

Now, the 244 cruises with the crew and steals the spotlight at every turn. With help from @remzy.studios and a newfound love for the camera, Dion’s not just building a car—he’s building a legacy.

Boxy never looked so bold.
