I used @Elsas_WholesomeLife’s YouTube tutorial again for the “eggs”. This is only my third attempt making them, but maybe the best so far. Though I may do a little tweaking next time. 🍳🖤

Lunch out with the family at @MonteFortePizza in Horsham.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I had the 12” vegan 𝗢𝗿𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗮 pizza, loaded with portobello mushrooms, red onion, semi-dried tomatoes, chilli and fresh basil on a marinara base, finished with extra virgin olive oil.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It was super tasty 🍕🖤

Had a little family day out in Brighton at the weekend, which meant popping into @TheHopeAndRuin and my dad having his first @Beelzebab666.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He chose the 𝐊𝐫𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐤 dog (9” tofu dog, sauerkraut, gherkin, crispy onion, mustard & ketchup) with fries, I got the 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐃𝐨𝐠 (9” tofu dog, chilli, melty cheeze & diced onion) and a side of the April seitanic special 𝐏𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 (fries topped with pengest poppers, gherkins, sour cream mustard and pickle dust). We also ordered a plain kids dog with regular fries.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Always a good time at The Hope, especially when food is involved. Don’t think I’ll have any trouble getting my dad to eat here again 🌭🌭🌭🖤

First time trying Chido Wey in Bristol the other day while I was in town to see a band playing just across the road. Not fully vegan, but they’ve got a decent range of options and swaps.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Went for the vegan nachos piled high with black beans, guac, jalapeños, and all the good stuff, and for my main I had the Señor Bean wrap stuffed with chipotle-spiced beans, fried onion, and that proper cheesy sauce. Plus after hearing my friends talk up the “good corn”, I had to get the elote on the side too. It didn’t disappoint and was messy in the best way. 🌯🌽🖤

Homemade vegan roast from Sunday. Nut roast with crispy roast potatoes, peas and carrots, plus Yorkshire puddings from the batch I made before Christmas (using @BeardedVeganChef’s recipe) and stashed in the freezer, all covered in veggie gravy 🖤

I was in London yesterday to see @IAmHalsey, and stopped by @OurBlackHeart before the show for some fully loaded vegan comfort food courtesy of @LDs.Kitchen
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍔 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿, mocken’ patti dipped in garlic parm sauce with marinara, smoked garlic mayo, smoked cheeze, lettuce & pickles.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍗 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀, southern fried mocken’ wings with their maple sweet mustard glaze.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍟 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗲𝘇𝘆 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, fries topped with LD’s smoky cheeze sauce, burger sauce & crispy onions.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
My highlight had to be the garlic parm burger. It was messy to hold, but loved how the marinara cut through everything.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Big thanks to @LDs.Kitchen for the meal and for having me. It’s always a joy to visit whenever I can. 🖤
