“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
‭‭I Peter‬ ‭5‬:‭10‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A little while can be a day, a year, a decade.
For me it was 4.5 years- of ups and downs, of trials, of letting go, of character development. But most of all, 4.5 years of RESTORATION AND REDEFINEMENT!

November 2021 I closed the doors to Saisha Monét Dance Academy with the expectation of opening up in a new location that same year. God had other (and much better) plans. When I closed those doors I had no idea I was walking away not only to SMDA, but to the Saisha Monét I once knew. A seed had to die for a harvest to blossom.

I stand here today renewed, rebranded, redefined and restored by my Father in Heaven. As HIS disciple, a proud mother of Shy, and the owner and artistic director of DISCIPLES DANCE CO.

Where Dancers Become Disciples.

To God be the glory. Welcome to the best era of my life-at HIS FEET. 🧎‍♀️‍➡️🩵💛🤍

LET'S DANCE! Registration is now open!🥹

🩵💛🤍What if dance could do more than teach technique? What if it could plant seeds of faith, build confidence, develop discipline, and point the next generation toward Jesus Christ?
That is the heart behind Disciple(s) Dance Company (DDC).

Our mission is simple: To Make Dancers into Disciples.
DDC is a faith-based dance company dedicated to using the gift of dance to glorify God, teach His Word, and develop dancers both spiritually and artistically.
However, this mission cannot be accomplished alone.

We are seeking sponsorship from businesses, churches, and community partners who believe in investing in the next generation and supporting work that makes a lasting difference.
Your sponsorship will help support:
Dance education and training.
Costumes, equipment, and studio expenses.
Opportunities for students to grow in their gifts without financial barriers.

We believe that when we invest in children and young people, we are investing in the future. And when we use our gifts to glorify God, the impact can reach far beyond what we see today.

And that’s a wrap for our “Fruit of the Spirit” lesson plan! For 9 weeks we went through all 9 of the Fruit of God’s spirit where all dancers went home with a fruit focused homework reflection! Needless to say, the seed was planted and the pictures are the proof! To God be all the Glory for the things He is manifesting here at DDC🩵💛🤍
