POSTS STORIES REELS

We are proud to introduce Hanna Hagelin (@perfectionforme) — a Sweden-based contemporary artist, negotiator, lecturer, and the creator of Auralith, a distinctive artistic language where intuition, transformation, and emotional depth come together.

For Hanna, art is far more than a creative practice—it is a process of becoming. Rather than relying on brushes or traditional techniques, she creates through movement, touch, and surrender, allowing each work to emerge through an intuitive dialogue with the material. Her paintings explore the space between chaos and calm, revealing beauty through vulnerability, texture, and transformation.

Only a year ago, Hanna was rebuilding her life after a period of profound personal change. What began as a deeply personal journey of healing soon evolved into a unique artistic voice that resonated with audiences around the world. Within a year, her work was exhibited in a museum and displayed on a billboard in Times Square—remarkable milestones that reflect the authenticity of her vision.

At the heart of Hanna's practice is the belief that art can communicate what words cannot. Every painting invites viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with themselves, embracing the strength that exists within imperfection.

As Hanna beautifully says:

"Be unapologetically you."

Artists, what matters more: quality or quantity? 🎨

We've been told to choose between creating more art and creating better art. But what if the real answer is both?

Quantity gives you room to experiment, make mistakes, develop your artistic style, and discover what works.

Quality gives your work depth, intention, and meaning.

And when it comes to growing as an artist on Instagram, consistency creates more opportunities for your art to be discovered.

You don't have to create a masterpiece every day. But you shouldn't wait for perfection to share your work either.

The goal isn't quality OR quantity. It's quality AND quantity.

💬 Artists, which one do you struggle with more — creating consistently or feeling satisfied with your work?

Save this for the days when perfectionism holds you back.

Dear artists, you have something most people never dare to explore. 🎨❤️

The courage to take an idea that exists only in your imagination and turn it into something real.

Think about that for a moment.

An empty canvas becomes a painting. A simple sketch becomes a story. A few colors become something that can make a complete stranger feel an emotion.

And you are the person who makes that happen.

Sometimes your creative mind might feel a little chaotic. You have unfinished projects, strange ideas, unexpected inspirations and a hundred different things you want to create.

But isn't that part of what makes being an artist so beautiful?

You see possibilities in ordinary things. You notice details others overlook. You create something that didn't exist yesterday.

You don't have to be famous, sell hundreds of paintings or have thousands of followers to be proud of being an artist.

The fact that you create is already something worth celebrating.

So be proud of your imagination. Be proud of your experiments. Be proud of every artwork that carries a little piece of you.

The world is a more interesting place because artists like you exist. ❤️

Artists, what's one thing you absolutely love about being an artist? 🎨

Ten paintings, one countdown, and a very hard decision at number one. *@helenbradburyart

These are picks from Helen Bradbury's studio: moons rising over meadows and seas, a pomegranate, a sunflower, a moorland in rust and violet, and a red sun sinking into blue water.

Her work moves between loose botanical watercolours and layered abstract landscapes, so ranking them is almost unfair.

Would you have picked the same number one?

Either you like this or else.
@alcartist

It starts as a few pencil lines on a blank white panel. Then the black goes in, the mask, the ears, the shine on the latex. Weeks of lips and eyes later, the green tape comes off and the silver leaf goes on around her, one thin sheet at a time.

Sped up, it looks easy. In real time, it's session after session of crouching, kneeling and pressing metal so fragile it tears if you look at it wrong.

So, which side are you on?

Drip. Drip. Drip. And then the colour hits.

Seventeen paintings by Helen Bradbury in under eight seconds: red suns over the sea, sunflowers, pomegranates, figs, quiet moorland watercolours and big textured moons over wildflower meadows.

Her work swings between loose botanical watercolours and layered abstract landscapes, and somehow it all feels like it comes from the same place.

Pause on the one you'd hang on your wall.

If you made it past the third painting, you might be one of my people. @alcartist

Most of these faces live in black and white, with just one thing allowed to break the silence: a flash of pink, a strip of gold leaf over the eyes, red lips, a rose. Then there are the ones that refuse to stay quiet at all, like a Ferrari helmet against a gold wall or a Catwoman finished in silver.

Every piece here is painted by hand, and the metal leaf is laid on sheet by sheet.

Which one would you hang on your wall?

Busy streets, crowded pavements, a train that's late. And then a brush, some water and a single red tulip.

Helen Bradbury paints the small, quiet things: fuchsias, grass stems, dried flowers catching the afternoon light, a plate of watermelon on the table. Some of it happens at her desk, some at a folding table out in a field as the sun goes down.

None of it needs to be finished or perfect to do its job. Even ten minutes with a brush can change the whole shape of a day.

What's your small creative thing when your head gets too loud?

Every one of these starts as a plain velvet canvas or a bare sheet of gold leaf. @faizashaikh

Faiza builds them by hand, layer by layer. Palette-knife roses on red velvet. Gold and silver leaf pressed down and brushed back. Then the words go in, one line at a time.

Sanskrit verses on gilded plaques, an Om traced in black over a gold relief, Arabic calligraphy written across a full gold-leaf panel. The red velvet piece carries the Lakshmi Gayatri mantra and sits in a clear acrylic box.

This Diwali, give a little colour, a little joy, a little art.

Her limited edition gift collection is now available. Choose a piece for someone special - or a little something for yourself.

DM to book your piece.

The people judging your art aren't creating anything. 🎨❤️

A little reminder for every artist who's ever felt nervous about sharing their work.

It's easy for someone to look at a painting and say what they would have done differently.

But they didn't spend hours experimenting with colors. They didn't struggle with the composition, question every brushstroke or find the courage to turn an idea into something real.

You did.

And that deserves some recognition.

Not everyone will understand your art. Some people will criticize it. Others might not connect with it at all.

And that's okay.

Learn from constructive criticism, but never let someone else's opinion take away your desire to create.

Your art doesn't have to please everyone to be worth making.

Keep painting. Keep experimenting. Keep sharing your work with the world.

Artists, have you ever received criticism that made you question your own creativity? ❤️

Somewhere right now, an artist is finishing something extraordinary — and almost nobody will see it.

Not because the work isn't good enough. Because making art and getting it seen have become two completely different jobs. Create, film, edit, post, promote… and somehow keep up with an algorithm that never slows down.

But behind every painting is something no algorithm can measure: a memory, a question, a feeling, a part of someone's life.

That's the idea behind Best Art Gallery — a place where we discover artists, share the stories behind their work, and help that work find people who genuinely connect with it.

If you're a painter, illustrator or independent artist, we'd love to discover your story.

Somewhere between the woman holding the brush and the paintings on the wall, there's a whole other world going on. @bethany_sifford

Bethany Sifford's work is packed with symbols: a dove lifting a burning heart, lungs that grow like trees, an eye crying a river onto a winding road, a devil and an angel on either side of the same split brain. Every background is covered in patterns built line by line.

Even the canvas behind her in this video is still in progress, with a lion, a snake and a trumpet-playing angel only half painted.

If you could step inside one of these paintings, which one would it be?
