Panta Rhei

On my bicycle trips, Prague was the most fascinating city to me. It has such an interesting vibe in fact, that I've cycled there twice already. With its beautiful views along the Vltava river, the great food, and especially its mystical nooks and crannies, there's a lot to explore. Some places are dreamlike paintings, some hidden spots and modern sculptures may give you Kafkaeque vibes. This is a musical piece inspired by the pictures, I took in Prague. I tried to capture both the beautiful and the mystical side of the Czech Republic's capital. Watch the full video on youtube and feel that special atmosphere.

My new keyboard in action. 🎹🎶🎵
I thought about purchasing a new hammond clone for quite a while. The idea of the @viscount_official @viscount_legend_official Legend One got my attention. A single manual organ with the possibility of extending it to a full two-manual organ makes it so versatile for different occasions.
The whole routing of internal sounds (also including very useful piano, strings, etc sounds) and external gear makes it a good choice for many different gig occasions.
But it is the amazing tonewheel organ sound that made me purchase this beauty.
And it is just fun to play this organ. Thanks, Viscount.

Here I am playing the theme song of my favourite tv show during my teenager years. "Hey Arnold" has this whole great soundtrack of beautiful jazz tunes, thanks to @jim.lang . One of the big reasons I got into Jazz in the first place. Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏

Happy International Synthesizer Day! 🎹🎛🎶🎵

Just a quick loop jam on my beloved @expressive_e Osmose Synth and my @hotoneaudioinst Ampero II Stomp
with some ambient sound from outside 🐦

🎧 headphones on for some deep bass

The Osmose is still the most interesting sounding and expressively playable synthesizer to me.
And the Ampero II Stomp is my first choice addition for any keyboard if I want some extra stereo effects.

Happy World Piano Day 2026!
You can listen to "Nostalgia" on all major download and streaming platforms.
Full video on youtube.
Sheet music available on gumroad (links in my linktree in bio)

I wrote "Nostalgia" over the past weeks in February/March as a reminder for how quickly time flies. Memories remain, fading over time.
But sometimes they resurface - bicycle rides as a kid, holidays with parents, school days, old friendships and adventures. And beautiful days in the present may lead to this feeling of nostalgia someday.

Finally I managed to transcribe all my music that's been released online in the past 5 years for piano.
Available on christianlarese.gumroad.com
(Link in bio -> linktree)
For me personally a big step to leave some things behind to be able to focus on new music.

Sheet music to the latest vinyl release "Another Universe" (2024) will be available soon.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
It's that time of the year again, when I decide to play my version of a traditional Christmas song. This year it's "Kling Glöckchen Klingelingeling", played on my upright piano and a beautifully tuned tongue drum.
You can find the full version on my youtube channel.
Have a listen and enjoy!
And everyone please be a bit more kind to each other! That would be my Christmas wish.
