Tonight on a very special, all new @insidertrading.radio - weโ€™ve got your mans @dj_cocoliso ๐ŸŒ… indelibly smooth with home cooked tracks that are warm to the touch and easy on the ears ๐Ÿจ๐ŸŽน๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ป๐Ÿ„๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ David brings us a full sequence of original tunes, some from the archive, some pulled from live jams, some just for the heck of it! All, blissed and fizzed out with laid back synth lines and west coast dubby breakin grooves. Just like sharing a convo, a dance floor or the bball court with David, this mix is a real welcomed treat! โ•ฐ๏ดพโ„ดใ€ฐโŒตใ€ฐโ„ด๏ดฟโ•ฏtune in tonight at 11:00 PST ๐ŸŒž be sure to check out his latest release โ€œHoly Cow Epโ€ coming out on @etho_plex - a label which he has cofounded along with another local legend @nightjogger_ - this Friday! go follow all of the above and thanks for tuning in ๐Ÿ’พ๐Ÿ“น๐Ÿฅ link for the stream will be in my story ๐Ÿ“ก appreciate the mix @dj_cocoliso ! Clips from my bside show last Friday w @djshamblez. Started out the set with My track Ondas Fritas (fried waaaves) ๐ŸŒŠ off my new ep. Many thanks to weirdos crew for the bside spot. @djshamblez bumpin. Many thanks to him and being a vinyl dad these past few weeks ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ Holy Cow track off my forthcoming EP on @etho_plex ๐ŸŒŠ Mixing vinyl out for first time, was choppy but given me completely new perspective on mixing. Loving it so much. Aright, sometimes had to back to basics and do some housey cdj magic. @djshamblez frolicking and abstracting in the booth with this supple track. Just what the doctor ordered! Vinyl dad @djshamblez closing us out with some solid grooves. by @dj_cocoliso
Mixing records and playing some new tunes this Friday at @bsidedotradio with @nightjogger_ and @djshamblez from 6-8. Thanks to the @weirdos_inc.records fam for the takeover and lending us their slot! by @dj_cocoliso
Coco Liso offers Plumas, a track that evokes their balearic tendencies with a vocal forward texture that balances grit and smoothness that often weave together in his arrangements and invites us to surface. Plumas is a track on Coco Lisoโ€™ Holy Cow EP coming out in October. In his own words: โ€œPlumas is an old moniker of mine. The reason I named the track after an older monicker is to return back to the basics of why I make music. A song is a time capsule, a document of sorts- a manifestation of a season in my life. Memory is a fascia, itโ€™s never gone, itโ€™s retold through the psyche, perhaps through dreams, trauma- collectively through mythology. The sun gives us a glimpse of that fascia everyday- it rises up to warm us and falls to slow us down and rest. It is something inside us and in that movement it bookends the days and seasons of our small yet significant lives. Movement is entirely around us, and exists without us. It is independent of human movement, in fact we yearn to move like our natural world. To fly like a bird, to float and swim like the seas. Independent of us there is roars, whisper and songs. Also there is colour, dark, light. All of this exists without us yet coincides with us correlating with the ebb of the sun and the bodies . This song may always connected with something childlike in me. The voice sample is not me but it feels like my own shout, a desperate plea and prayer to the universe.โ€ by @dj_cocoliso

Weโ€™re kicking off summer with a backyard party with DJ Cocoliso, Flim Flam and Ben Hayes @dj_cocoliso @fl.im_fl.am @ben.hayes.beats Tickets in link. DJ Cocoliso is creating a baleric & world kinectic machine music. Flim Flam explores the liminal space between Pop and Underground music for many dance styles over many decades, from 70โ€™s to present. He blends them until they jive in exciting and unexpected ways. He plays House, Techno, Breaks, R&B, Synth Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop. This is everything, everywhere and all at once. From hypnotic to sublime, chill to frantic and classy to trashy. Ben Hayes plays chill groove house with hints of hip-hop summer style beats. #livemusicvancouver #locallysourcedbeats #vancouvermusicscene #vancouverproducer by @dj_cocoliso
