Vegas has a lot of hard techno — and we love it. 🔥 We had plenty of it last Friday with @beatsync.lv’s Leo Rave. But what Vegas doesn’t have enough of? Slower, groovier, Detroit-inspired techno. 🖤 This Thursday, 8/20, @audiobarlv brings you the 3rd edition of: 🔊 〰️ TECHNOLOGIC 〰️ 📢 A Night of Detroit-Inspired Techno If you love artists like Richie Hawtin, Eddie Fowlkes, Juan Atkins, Jeff Mills, Robert Hood — or this track by @maxmegalv — this night is for you. And if you love dance music but want to hear something in Vegas besides house, tech house, mainstream EDM, hard techno or bass, come experience a different side of the underground. Born in Detroit in the 1980s, Detroit techno was pioneered largely by artists who fused futuristic electronic sounds with the soul, rhythm and funk of American music. Think: 🤖 Futuristic, machine-driven sounds 🌀 Hypnotic rhythms & atmospheric melodies 🥁 Classic drum machines & synthesizers 🖤 Soul and funk underneath the electronics 🚀 Music inspired by technology, space & the future It can be deep. It can be hypnotic. It can be funky. And it doesn’t need to be 150 BPM to make you move. No cover. No friction. Just TECHNOLOGIC. 📍 Audio Bar 1020 S 1st St Suite 100 Las Vegas, NV 89101 Vegas Arts District See you Thursday. Tell a friend who needs more techno in their life. 🔊 #DetroitTechno #TechnoVegas #LasVegasTechno #Technologic #AudioBarLV by @dj_sotech
